| okay so it started out very normal i was shopping for basic hygiene necessities except it wasn’t at a particular store??? there just happened to be shelves of stuff in a white room and nobody questioned it. there was an amazing section of clothes and jewelry behind the shelves and i tried to find some good deals, but i didn’t have time, so i had to go home with my mom. okay so here’s when the dream gets weirder. now i’m preparing for my birthday party. even though it’s late june. and my birthday is july 13th. i don’t remember much about this aspect of my dream, but i never actually got out of my room despite the fact my birthday party was going on??? weird??? and none of my friends were there so i’m not sure how that worked. i wish i could describe it more in detail, because it definitely felt like an alternative universe i just can’t explain it in words. reminds me of how ... aug 24 2019 ∞

Let me explain myself: my name is Irene, I'm sixteen years old, I live in Florida, and my state got hit by Hurricane Irma. Everyone has a different story of their experiences with natural disasters, so I'm here to tell mine. This will be a long story. I started this story on Wednesday, September 6th, and I will try to write my observations. This is my second hurricane experience, but I barely remember much about Hurricane Wilma back in 2005. On Wednesday and Thursday, I put up the window shutters with my parents. My state was in a state of emergency since Monday, so we had lots of time to prepare.
