- family bg: soyeon's an only child and a half-orphan, with her mum (song mi youn) being dead and having been for about 5 years now. soyeon has always had a great (and a much better) relationship with her mum, unlike her dad (park seo joon); her mum has always cared a lot for sso and spent as much time with her as possible, thus why she was so devastated when she lost her. after her mum's death, soyeon turned to spending time with her grandma, who were always like a 2nd mother to her, when her mum couldn't be there for her. soyeon's rship with her dad went even worse after her mum's death and ever since she also lost her grandmother, she basically has no one in the family. her father doesn't care about her at all due to being too busy with president stuff.
- soyeon knows how to play the piano a little, she was taught how to by her mum when she was little. she also did ballet for about 7 years but she never really liked it much, despite being good at it.
- goals: she wants to find what she wants to do about her future. she has no fucking clue right now; she knows she doesn't need to have a job to make a living because her father is rich and she'll have lots of money even when he dies but she wants to get away from the family. she isn't ready to live alone yet, though; even though she's already 21. and most importantly... she finally wants to be happy. she wants to live a life that she doesn't have to cringe at. that she doesn't want to run away from every day.
- hobbies: soyeon loves computers. she loves browsing the internet, programming, web designing -- she's a real geek. she used to hack into the school principal's computer just for fun; she would've been kicked out plenty of times had her father not been the president. she also loves sining, although her voice is just mediocre; being with animals, because she adores them, and she has a dog called
and two cats at home. her dad is allergic to dogs, solives in soyeon's room basically and can only go out when she takes him for a walk.
- relationships: soyeon didn't really have any serious relationships before. she had a fling with this boy when she was 15, it lasted for two months; then at age 18 she hooked up with a girl on this party of her dad's only to piss him off, but she ended up falling for her kinda -- the girl didn't like her back. she had two one-night stands, at age 19 and age 20 and that's about it. she doesn't really believe real love exists, she has the belief that every relationship/love ends once so why even start one.
- strengths: she's tough. she might has her ups and downs but she really is tough, both from the inside and the outside. she's never really showed how much she misses her mum and grandma and won't, unless there's someone she really cares about when she has a breakdown (which she doesn't very often). she has good manners; if there's something her dad has taught her, it's politeness. she's mechanical; she knows how to fix a lot of electronical things, and as stated above, knows a lot of shit about computers and all that. she's reliable, she's not a person you would like to tell your problems probably, but if you still decide to do so, she won't ever tell them to anyone. if you're good friends with her, you can also count on her anytime; be in trouble and she'll be there to save your ass, even if she gets trouble for it, too. she doesn't like asking favors from her dad, but you can sure as hell be convinced that she'll take advantage of his power.
- weaknesses: she's very blunt. unless you're someone older (like, significantly older), she'll tell shit to you straightforwardly. she's also not really good with emotional things because she can't even handle her own emotions -- how does anyone expect her to handle others'? she's also very impulsive. she'll do a lot of things out of emotion and not based on logic (however logic-oriented her mind might be from all the programming #punintended), which usually puts her in trouble. she's also not quick to forgive. if someone hurts her, she'll hold grudge for weeks, months, or maybe even years; and even if she forgives them, she'll make sure that the other never ever forgets what they had done to her.
