- Valentine, a young man well known for his pink, voluminous hair in the style of a Mohawk. With his flamboyant and extravagant personality he easy is canceled out by Jem, his room-mate and best friend. He is always up for a good story and a good meme. And his phone is practically part of him.
- Jem, a quiet and sturdy built young man that is at times quite the pushover, especially for someone close or someone of young or old age. He is also sensitive to those close to him, if someone hurts them, that person won't live it down. Often seen with his hair pulled out of his face, he refuses to cut his hair now that it's his choice and not the family's.
- Xylla, otherwise known as a smol bean, standing at a whole 5' 4". Having a fascination for plants, they surround his room and house. He is a sheltered teen, often spending his time in between school, his plants, and his cat. Although being sheltered he is very sweet and will openly talk to others, but does not easily make friends.
- Roxy does not like stereotypes, hence the feminine name for a man. He doesn't fit the stereotype he's put in either, looking like a trouble maker with tattoos and piercings, but in reality is an intelligent, nice guy, just don't get on his bad side. He is one of the few people to become close friends with Xylla.
- Adrian, a quiet girl that works at an aquarium with salt water fish. Daileass is the one she works with most. She is strong and independent, living on her own but visiting her parents often, she is working to be able to travel worldwide to study ocean life.
- Daileass is a merman that was rescued and rehabilitated at the aquarium Adrian works at. Although rehabilitated, he has grown close to humans, especially Adrian. He is a little high maintenance but means no trouble. Seems to be of chromis or McCosker's flasher wrasse origin.
- Jace works with reptiles and insects in the smaller area of the aquarium, his biggest task is working with nagas Iris and Khaleel. He has no problem working with them they just require a lot of work and time. He tends to goof off but gets things done, even if its years later. He also has an optimistic look on life and tries to make everyone smile.
- Iris is a (albino/purple/lavender) reticulated python naga. She has a carefree personality and can be clingy to those close to her but is normally seen sitting by herself relaxing and lounging about.
- Khaleel is an Egyptian cobra naga. He is kind hearted and used to being around people but can develop a temper when things don't go his way, when he is at his worst it is best to let him calm down.
- Warren is a wonderpus octopus merman, being very skittish and nervous and having a scaredy cat nature. He likes to bury in the sand and hide most of the time.
- Jules is a moon jellyfish merman, with a human form but translucent hands and feet that fade as they reach his body, portraying the translucent tissues of jellyfish. Looking like an astronaut with a his helmet, Jules also has a fascination with space, alluding to the fact that moon jellies have been sent in space. Is a bit of an airhead but his character makes it hard to stay away. Jules also has the quality of jellyfish of stinging when touched.
- Lev is a lion's mane jellyfish merman, appearing much like Jules but taller and with a head full of long, voluminous hair. He is dressed in Russian inspired clothing referencing to the region they are found. And like the jellyfish itself, Lev is extremely loving but like Jules though, touching him can sting.
- Mordecai is a monocled cobra naga with an indifferent attitude and extreme patience. He is often seen smoking which is thought to be the reason on why he is so calm. But Mordecai can lose his temper and acts much like Khaleel when he does, he can be more dangerous to be around which is why he tries to keep calm.
- Alice, an Argonaut or paper nautilus mermaid, looks as if she belongs in the 1920s with her bobbed hair and loose, short dress. She is sassy and a force to be reckoned with. She has a strong sense of showmanship shown through her talk and her stories, but with that big shell of hers all she can do is talk.
- Maria is a humanized mourning dove, always seen in dark, flowing, mourning clothes, and wings held low. You may see tears roll down her face but even though they are tears of grief she isn't sad, if anything she feels a sense of joy.
