- calling him when i was back from the cruise, only to have him in a meeting and call me a half hour later sounding like an excited puppy.
- sleeping in my bed with him and being woken up by a loud rumble of thunder, and feeling his arms immediately tighten around me and pull me close with a "shh i'm here" in my ear.
