bc i wanted to just make my sumo team an honorary honorary mention on my 'characters i like' but i have more fave pokemon than just my main sumo team so h.......

main moon team:

• butter / decidueye - the original... funky little owl. my handle and decidueye aren't directly correlated but i had just changed my new main handle to humblebutter as i began to play pokemoon and i think i was just subconsciously thinking of butter again as i named my rowlet bc what a funny word. anyways. he's baby
• sunny / ribombee - a perfect little speedy girl. i am just rly in love with the cutiefly line. draining kiss is such a good move and u bet she has a big root as her held item
• bopper / alolan persian - alolan persians are cute as Fuck and i don't care what anyone else says my love for them are as big as their rotund head. my speedy boy thrives with my unwavering love and spite and friendship. i am 90% sure he was my last boy standing who let me become champion. he has the rockium z.
• e / alolan muk - there are layers to the humor of e's name bc 1) i wanted to name my grimer Elliot bc haha i don't usually name my pokemons human names and 2) that did Not happen bc i messed up and so he was named e, but i think it's double funny and a neat nickname so it stuck. anyways, e is slow but he is a Powerful and Healthy individual with acid armor and sitrus berries. and he has very lovely colors.
• quenched / gyarados - i raised this lad as a magikarp, when he was named thirst. a very strong, very excellent boy. dragon dance & ice fang are good.
• veler / alolan golem - i traded an npc to get veler. idk what i would have named him if given the chance. anyways veler is a machine. he destroys. he is owning rock blast and discharge and i can't count how many times at least two if not all four of his moves were super effective against enemies. he is a force of nature and perfect.

not my champions but still lovely sumo boys:

• buglady / ledian - buglady is such a cutie in both stages of her line !!!! she was one of my first pokemon in moon and i replaced her somewhat early on but she has still is dear to me.
• pinsir - oh my god i forgot what i named her but she's a good girl!! for some reason i just composed a new team post-game and she's very lovely. her teeth flap things are terrifying but i love my giant bug daughter nonetheless
• creamsicle / zubat - i never used them but i just think their name is funny
• ping / toucannon - may or may not be named after the command. one of my earlier girls. powerful. inspiring. bold.
• f e a r, aka fifi / ariados - irl spiders make me want to perish but spider pokemon are blessed, especially fifi. i think they replaced ping kinda mid-game, before they were eventually replaced themselves.

pokemon i liked from heartgold: i had heartgold when i was younger. i lost it which makes me really sad but i have fond memories of the Two pokemon i remember using in it.

• michelle / meganium - my first starter. i have no idea why i chose the name michelle. i also thought michelle was a girl, not knowing how rare female starters are and also not knowing the difference between the female and male symbol........ i also remember at some point in the game i was. stuck? and i got frustrated and i just reset? and then i got bored multiple times and i kept resetting and tried the other starters too???? but michelle is my first boy and i love him so very much. i caught a chikorita in pokemoon using island scan and i'm so! so Glad i was lucky enough to get a chikorita as the mystery pokemon first try. Anyways i named him michelle too and i'm saying that michelle reincarnated. i love him.
• the shiny gyarados in that one lake (google says the lake of rage. wrow.). i honestly don't think i understood how rare / special a shiny was, so i just thought it was cool i had a red gyarados instead. i feel like i recalled having it years later, and having my mind blown that i caught a shiny, until i realized that shiny gyarados is kinda guaranteed to show up in the storyline. still. he's cool and quenched would probably like him too.

other pokemon i didn't catch / don't have much of a connection to but i still think are cool:

• munna. i remember seeing munna in the anime (B/W ??) and i loved her. she is friend shaped
• litwick. i just think theyre neat even though theyre like kinda malicious but :shrug:
• pumpkaboo. i have a plush of them and theyre very blessed
• fat pikachu. i have a (not fat) pikachu in moon but i'm honestly just talking about this giant plush of fat pikachu i have that i really don't even remember where i got it from. but anyways he is so rotund! so perfect!
• yamask. another bappy i love from the b/w anime
• morelull. i wanted to have one on my team for pokemoon but i just never did aaa
• comfey. i LOVE this baby so much and i also wanted one for my pokemoon team so bad but i don't know if i ever actually encountered one on my main journey.
• numel. they're a funny looking fellow!! also numel's part of my pfp on my art blog which is just a shitty dry erase doodle of maxie saying 'i would die for you' to a numel. i feel that. i should honestly probably make a more 'professional' pfp for that acct but I've never gone around to it lol. numel stays
• vanillite line - they're so cute... iskrem...!!!!!!!
