  • jujutsu kaisen s01
    • 01/27 a rewatch as i didn't pay it very much attention at all the first time. not much different this time around. still pretty solid 7/10
  • jujutsu kaisen s02
    • 02/01 not something i expected myself to ever say but the retrospection was the best part. best experience i've had watching an anime in a while. and then they're destroying the world again 7/10
  • the disastrous life of saiki k s03
    • 02/03 ...i didn't expect this to be a single episode. but it's over now ig. the manga has an additional chapter or two, which though filler, really help close the series in a more satisfying manner. if you're, you know, clingy like me 8/10

  • the picture of dorian gray - oscar wilde (1981)
    • 01/26 makes me want to speak in a funny sort of way. i don't know if its my lack of knowledge of the english language but this book felt to be almost entirely rhetoric. Even the elegantly formed opinions of lord henry seemed to say absolutely nothing of the world. still, there's quite a compelling argument to be made for, as the book calls it, "the great aristocratic art of doing absolutely nothing". 7/10
  • kafka on the shore - haruki murakami (2002)
    • 02/12 i'd love to call it edgy and pretentious but i don't think i understand it well enough to do that. quite intriguing nonetheless. it builds a rich and atmospheric world through simple prose and it's surprisingly fast pace. reading this book analytically is a useless venture 7.5/10
