Jeon Seokjin has exactly four weeks to stop the impending engagement of his younger brother, doomed to a loveless marriage. The only way to stop it is to make a better match, more advantageous, more lucrative for the Jeon family. It's impossible. It's his only option.

Min Yoongi does not want, will never want, will never ever even consider, marriage. It's not in the cards. He's stubborn enough to achieve the total ban on marriage talks. Except maybe his grandmother is a little more stubborn than he is, and maybe she's determined to see him march down the aisle.

The chaebol arranged marriage au that exactly one and a half people asked for.

yoongi is a single parent, taehyung is his son who wants to be a dragon, jimin is the dragon's new best friend, and seokjin is too good looking for a single dad working two jobs.

Namjoon doesn't pretend, not even for a second, that he doesn't know what Seokjin does to keep them all going. That Seokjin gave up everything so the rest of them could have a chance at something better.

Yoongi is the angel general and Seokjin is the demon's gatekeeper, but Seokjin isn't like any demon he's met before.

“Let’s go to the hospital. To the police. Both.” Yoongi whispered, unsure how to even touch Seokjin.

“No.” Seokjin snapped, trembling but not flinching when Yoongi carefully helped him up, a hand on each arm. “And do what, Yoongi? Get a rape kit? Make the news? Become forever the kid who got raped by three guys? You think that’s going to work for us right now?”

Seokjin was the spirit of rain, and it rained every time he cried. Humans stopped at nothing to get their rain, and Yoongi was going to stop at nothing to see Seokjin smile.

For the last time, Seokjin and Yoongi aren't really together. They think.

(or:

"I can't believe I have to live with this every day," says Jungkook, grimacing. "When I signed up to move in with you guys, I wasn't expecting this."

By this, he means whatever weird courtship ritual is occurring in the kitchen, abuzz with tension and years of repression – or, at least, that strange vibe that everyone in the house has gone through at least once, never mind that the third wheeling happens even when all seven of them are together watching a movie in the living room and Yoongi is sleepily curled up around Seokjin and tracing absent-minded, concentric circles into Seokjin's hip to distract him from nearly pissing himself every time a ghost pops up on the screen, ugh. The worst part about it isn't that they're doing it on purpose, even; the worst part is that they have no idea what they're even doing half the time that makes watching them an excruciating exercise in self-restraint.)

There are 5 rules when it comes to dealing with Min Yoongi.

Kim Seokjin breaks all of them.

After four years, the tiny 'slip-ups' leaving Seokjin out of album pictures and the reducing number of lines and screen time are starting to get to him.

The one guarantee he has to keep himself from falling into despair about his situation is Min Yoongi... until the rapper says something he shouldn't, and Seokjin begins to wonder why he was chosen as a member of BTS in the first place...

The God of War was known to be bloody, merciless, fearful, and to possess no moral attributes. Min Yoongi doesn't know fear, until the most precious thing is taken away from him.

“Who are you?” Yoongi asked, finally more gently. “Can—Can you hear me?”

“Yes, yes I can,” the voice in his head said. “Why are you in my head?”

“I…” Yoongi wanted to have an answer for this. He really did. He wanted to be a damn scientist and have a formula that would explain and solve this, but he was a damn pizza delivery man. “I don’t know. I think we’re like, connected or something? That’s… weird.”

(Or: in which Seokjin wants to believe he's not insane. Yet.)

Seokjin is a prince trapped in a tower, and Yoongi is his guardian dragon. Things don't go like they're supposed to go.
