- Before cameras and video, we were seen in our truth. Sure, I’m sure people have always put on fake smiles and did their best to show contentment when, in fact, they felt broken. But somewhere in that facade, the truth was shown through. This is the perfection of being human — somewhere, our flaws will always be exposed. Our cracks will inevitably show. That is what creates a connection between us. It is not our perfection, but our flaws, that unite us.
