He takes a deep breath, ignoring the weird look from the Ravenclaw sitting next to him. He clears his head the best he can and closes his eyes, before imagining himself screaming at the top of his lungs.
A chair clatters to the floor, and Jeno opens his eyes. Renjun’s on the ground, with his hands over his ears.

Yukhei knows it’s more rhetorical than anything, but he replies anyway. “Only in my dreams,” he says.
“Oh, smooth,” Mark tells him.
Mark is worried. Lucas thinks he doesn’t need to.
In which Lucas is the loudest ghost ever that is lowkey sad that he is dead and lonely, and Mark is a stressed college kid that just wants to study and is a workaholic overachiever that doesn’t sleep or eat enough.
Lucas is a ghost that worries about Mark while Mark tries his best and worries about everything else.
Mark asks Yukhei to teach him how to be a good kisser. It goes downhill from there.

Hey! I'm Donghyuck, and I'm seventeen years old. I have a pretty normal life, except for the fact that I have magical powers and was raised by five warrior queens. the staff policy at paradise resort is to hate the guests. they're easy to hate, snobby, entitled, filthy rich and general dirtbags. the staff policy makes total sense. donghyuck works at the resort due to his uncle (owner of paradise resorts) giving him the job as a favor.
but one summer a guest shows up that donghyuck finds himself annoyingly incapable of completely hating.
“You can get over it, it’s better to do that because a Soc and a Greaser could never be together.” Donghyuck snaps at the drunk boy a bit harshly, he’s trying to tell this to himself and he hadn’t meant to be so harsh, but it was for his own good.
“I just got you to admit that you’re having fun,” Lucas muses, straightening in his seat. Donghyuck watches in real time as his smile goes from stupid to smug. “With me.”
“Please,” Donghyuck scoffs, annoyed. “That old man in the corner over there is better company than you.”
Donghyuck swears that if had to hear one more poor attempt of a haiku chat-up line, he was going to put his bow to good use and kill Wong Yukhei.
Donghyuck has a plan for this year - get the lead part in the musical, get through the hellhole he knows as school and get over his first love, Mark Lee. But life just doesn’t go to plan, and Donghyuck finds himself working backstage for the musical instead.
It's actually not bad, once he gets used to it. But it'd be a lot better if Lucas Wong would stop looking at him the way he does.
