I winter:

  • christmas time
    • christmas tree
    • calender
    • market
    • baking
    • etc.
  • the smell
  • snow & cold
    • pissed people
    • calm
  • locas in love's winter album
  • scarves, hiding one's body under (preferably) a lot of great clothes, coats
  • the weather matching one's mood — being able to sulk apathetically beautifully

II spring

  • it warming up again without being incredibly sweaty-hot yet
  • first sun rays of the year, so i'm not annoyed yet
  • joy of being able to use bicycle again without dying
  • → being more active

III summer

  • long nights
  • summer break
  • the smell of the air
  • going out in the world swimming, walking, riding bycicles, walking around barefoot anything
  • the brightness
  • ...the warmth, duh
  • wearing shorts and dresses and tops and not much
  • festivals
  • going on vacation
  • a certain felt freedom, lightness
  • being able to leave the house with not much on, and stay that way (opposed to having to carry lots of clothes, which you'd then have to take off, or put on, while still being cold), even at night
  • getting a tan (i.e. not looking dead) - also: getting a tan naturally and unintentionally, thereby looking alive and active and tan-lined
  • getting sunburned (speaking of 'looking alive and active') (unintentionally of course)
  • sweating a bit, opposed to freezing constantly and not being able to do anything about it
  • parties, being able to come home late without problems (no cold etc.), garden/outside gatherings that don't end because of cold

IV fall

  • it still being warm without the uber-sweatiness of summer
  • christmas time coming up (see above)
  • wind & rain
  • concerts again, finally, after the festival drought
