- If it bleeds through to the next page, cover it up with a sticker or memo paper that you can write on.

General Goals / Attributes
- Primary aim: Gordon wants to create an orchard and brewery. He wants his farm to follow permaculture principles. (Not sure how this can manifest in the game but I chose the four corners farm for its diversity.)
- Additionally, Gordon loves food and cooking, and he's a chaos magician so he'll be hanging with the Wizard a lot. :)
- Personality: Gorden is very sociable and loves being amongst the community. Friendly and compassionate but not one to be fucked with. He has a boyfriend (shy, techy).

- Mon: new Special Orders (message board outside Lewis' house)
mar 15 2020 ∞ apr 28 2022 +
process & motivation:
- Set a word count goal for each day. Break it down into smaller goals so you can cross them off as you go.
- Have an overall goal to work towards. Decide how long you want your piece to be, and a timeframe of when you will publish it.
- Don't compare yourself and your processes to others'. Don't worry if you can't/don't write as much as others. Only you matter.
- Your first draft is going to be shit. Everyone's is. Don't worry about it. There's always plenty of time to change it. Just keep writing.
- It doesn't matter how bad you think it is, just keep writing!
- Set a time each day for writing when you're at your best, e.g. morning. Spend the rest of the time on other activities (marketing, research, etc)
- If you feel writing is becoming a chore, ...

- Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
- Eat water-rich snacks such as cucumber, watermelon and berries.
- Exfoliate regularly. This allows moisturisers to enter your skin more easily and effectively.
- Use hydrating treatments, and layer them, such as a serum then a mask. Sodium hyaluronate and aloe vera are helpful ingredients.
- Use a floral water spray throughout the day to keep hydration levels high.

on doing things
- Start small, start now. This is much better than, "start big, start later." One advantage is that you don't have to start perfect. You can merely start.
- Just begin. There's never a perfect time to begin. You'll never be completely prepared. So just begin.
- We each carry around a frying pan, looking for just the right size fish to fry. We each have an expectation of what we've got, what we might get and what we deserve. And most of all, we each carry around limits, beliefs about what we're able to contribute.
- Sometimes, the lower performance gadget is better for our needs than the higher performance one.
- Train your gut, get better instincts. How do this?

- be more curious ... ask questions. Be open to new ideas, people and places. Try to look at things from a different angle.
- don't be afraid ... even the most innovative artists let themselves be inspired by what already exists. Let go of the fear that your work may be derivative but rather see it as being inspired by what you see and hear. Build on it and make it your own.
- change your routine ... if you start to feel like you're in a rut, change your routine. Even small changes like trying a new kind of coffee can open your eyes up in a new way.
- give yourself quiet time ... you need to allow yourself time to absorb all the things you've seen and heard. Stepping away from social media and the internet also makes you less prone to comparison and self-criticism.
- try something new ... try a new art or craft. Work in a different medium or combine materials that you normally wouldn't.

From Curvy Yoga newsletter.
- When you work to accept your body, that does not mean that you're "giving up" on your body or being healthy....
- It makes me sad that our society has this idea that to accept your body means to throw in the towel and not care about yourself. I find that offensive, not to mention grossly damaging to all of us. I understand why it exists, though, because without it, how or why would we spend billions of dollars on diets, beauty products and whatever else we're sold in an effort to become a supposedly better version of ourselves?
- Here's the real truth, though: there's absolutely nothing passive about accepting your body. Because to truly accept your body means to be attuned to its ever-changing needs. You don't just figure out your body's needs one day and then, check!, m...

- Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. We often don’t get enough water in our systems, and get so busy throughout the day that we don’t think about stopping to replenish our supply. Or we replenish with soda or coffee or tea but not water. Trigger yourself by leaving a big glass out on the counter or table. Or do what I do, and get a big travel mug with a lid. At night, I fill it up with a lot of ice and a bit of water, and in the morning it’s waiting for me: a nice, cool cup of water. Flush the toxins, kickstart your system, wake yourself up.
- Park as far away as you can from the door. Fight the effects of a sedentary lifestyle by getting more steps into your day whenever you can. In fact, simple things like a longer stroll from the car to the door might be more effective than a vigorous work-out at counteracting the effects ...

- Do not cold drinks with meals. Tea (e.g. green) is suitable, but not too much, and preferably half an hour before the meal.
- Eat soup often. Soup is filling and the warmth stimulates the digestion.
- Meal proportions 3/4 vegetables to 1/4 meat.
- Use small serving bowls and eat with chopsticks.
- Eat rice, and ensure to mix it less processed versions such as brown, black or red rice.

Positivity makes you more attractive and resilient, with lower blood pressure, less pain, fewer colds, better sleep. Increase the number of positive emotions in your day, however fleeting. One can lead to another and so on, until we're in an upward spiral of positivity. Take a moment to find the good in a situation. Don't over-generalise ('I can never hold down a relationship'), jump to conclusions ('I'll never finish this job') or ruminate endlessly. Any healthy distraction - a run, a swim - that lifts your mood is good.
Studies show people regret not having done things much more than they regret things they did. Why? We can rationalise an excess of courage more easily than an excess of cowardice, because we can console ou...

- Only eat until you are 80% full. This is called Hara Hachi Bu in Japanese and goes back to Confucian teachings.
- Avoid eating 3 hours before bedtime. If you are hungry, eat a small light snack or meal that's easy to digest.
- Drink a glass of cold water when you first wake up. This kick-starts the metabolism in the morning. Optionally add some lemon slices for their detoxing effect.
- Eat smaller meals more frequently.
- Swap larger plates and bowls for smaller ones.
- Stop drinking fizzy sugary drinks. Drink water and green tea instead. If that's tough, then slowly wean yourself off them, switch to fruit juice or cordial and slowly transition to water.
- Try to wean yourself off sugary snacks. Swap them for fruit.

- Every time you moisturise or apply sunscreen to your face, do the same to your neck and decolletage.
- Remove makeup before exercising to allow the perspiration to flush out the pores.
- Exfoliate regularly with a BHA and go to a dermatologist to for any ingrown hairs.
- Treat wet hair very carefully. Don't twist up in a towel. Use soft cotton to dry it (e.g. an old t-shirt).
- Use an eye cream and pat it on gently. Don't ever rub your eyes. Use eye drops to keep eyes from being dry if this is the reason for rubbing.
- Rub a drop of moisturiser into your hands and then pat it onto your face to bring back a dewy look.
- Dab a little clear lip balm on your eyelids over your shadow to make it look more three-dimensional.
