In which Jaebum and Jinyoung are seniors in college and live together. They love their life together but there's one thing that has been tagged to them: “You guys are basically married.”
“You may look older but you’re just as annoying as I remember.” Jaebum sighs and usually Jinyoung would take offence but he hears the familiar lilt of affection in the older boy’s voice and knows not to take him too seriously. “Why thank you, Jaebum.” Jaebum glances at him with a raised eyebrow, expression blank. Then he cracks a smile. “That’s Jaebum hyung to you, punk.”
Jinyoung doesn’t know how he ended up like this, lying to himself every day to keep everybody else happy.

Canon. Jinyoung is jealous of Jaebum and sets out to get his revenge even though Jaebum isn't his to be jealous over, a fact which is completely and entirely Jinyoung's own fault. Or: Jaebum is possessive, Jinyoung is possessive and in denial, and both of them are as stubborn as each other.
On tour, Jinyoung gets close to one of their backup dancers, but Jaebum gets in the way.
"C'mon, Jaebum hyung, are you sure? What's wrong with you? He thinks he knows, but he doesn't want to say it. The name repeats over and over in his head; his mind providing an answer to a conversation he doesn't want to have anymore. Jinyoung being gone. That's what's wrong with me".
