- After being a huge fan of the New Kids on the Block growing up (memories, memories) ... I finally got to see them live on October 11th, 2008. I am still amazed by getting to see them - (I think) I had multiple orgasms looking at them guys. I am planning to see them again in 2009. Every time I listen to "Paparazzi" by Lady GaGa ... I can still feel the anticipation of the New Kids getting ready to come out. Gosh. I loved that show.
- No more Reagan. I had to say goodbye to her for ... forever & I miss her everyday. Sometimes you just can't go back.
- I got a job in retail that I actually really like - Best Buy is the best buy, haha! "1421 second to none!"
- I realized that I was able to use the elliptical machine at the gym & it wouldn't cause my bad foot to throb & ache for days following. The treadmill on the other hand would kill me (literally).
- I said goodbye to one friend permanently, I uncontrollably drifted away from another & got insanely close to another.
- I am still meat free - the best decision I have ever made.
- My anxiety attacks cease to exist like they used to, although they still occur on some occasions.
- I spent a week of my summer down at the Las Vegas Regional Justice Center because I was picked for Jury Duty (getting summoned is just the first part of the process). It was an insane but eventful week where I learned a lot & saw things that will haunt me forever. At the end of which ... sent a man to jail for a really long time (40+ years).
- Bandie - our cat we had since we moved to Las Vegas in 1991 was put down due to old age.
- I got to spend a week with my cousins from Pennsylvania & it was so much fun.
- I got to see the Blue Man Group with my cousins - the best show on the Las Vegas Strip aside from Thunder from Down Under.
- I got to see both of my grandma's for some period of time.
- Salem became a toddler & is now looking for a girl to make babies with - in other words - he's in heat. Salem also ran away from home - he hopped the back wall & got lost. After a lot of work - we got him back - it was a long night.
- We got another dog named Buster - he's adorable.
- Las Vegas broke records with having snow this winter.
