I'm sure everything you could possibly think to ask is in the lists.

Don't wander through this glassy surface, expecting to find more then me cause what I am without a purpose, but a lone mirage to see.

  • Meat Loaf - Two Out of Three Ain't Bad: Easily, one of my all-time favorite depressing love songs. I remember one of my childhood friends having her birthday at the clubhouse in our neighborhood. I kept putting this tape in & her older brother kept taking it out because it didn't fit the "mood" - I really made him mad. I don't know how I ever discovered this song, but it's beautiful.
  • Amy Grant - Ask Me:: I remember listening to this a lot as a child. My older sister's taste in music really rubbed off on me - she was a huge Amy Grant fan. This made me question the existence of God.
  • Paula Abdul - The Promise Of A New Day: I remember this as being a huge part of my childhood after moving to Las Vegas. I got this tape for my first birthday after moving here & my Barbie's dance to this.
  • Cathy Dennis - Too Many Walls: My sister had her album on cassette tape. I tried to record myself singing this song ... on the actual tape & at the time ... they didn't have the protection tabs ... I'm still on there singing away, LOL.
  • New Kids on the Block - My Favorite Girl: Okay, I was a huge fan growing up & I still am, but I have such vivid memories making up dances to this song - it actually imitates their dance pretty close.
  • Bobby Darin - Splish Splash: Oh gosh! I used to do a dance to this in my room ... with a clothes basket. Haha. I had a tape with all these summer songs on it - this was track one.
