Season 1:

  • Bridge Over Troubled Sonny: After a careless choice of driving route by Jackie, Crystal begins obsessing over her late husband Sonny, who died by being entombed in the Lanford Bridge. This obsession leads to sad facts about Sonny coming to light. Meanwhile, Darlene tries smoking cigarettes.
  • Canoga Time: Roseanne & Dan can't agree on what to give to the PTA rummage sale.
  • Dear Mom & Dad: An unexpected visit from Roseanne's parents creates havoc.
  • Death & Stuff: When an elderly salesman comes to the door, Roseanne can't resist letting him come inside to rest for a moment. Unfortunately, he drops dead right at the kitchen table! The coroner cannot come until later, so the Conners must deal with the corpse.
  • Here's to Good Friends: Roseanne & Jackie attempt to help Crystal drown her sorrows after breaking up with her lover, by taking her to the Lobo lounge for a few drinks & a pep talk.
  • Life & Stuff: Roseanne deals with some stuff with Dan & meets with Darlene's history teacher.
  • Mall Story: Mayhem follows the Connors when they go shopping at the local mall.
  • Saturday: Roseanne, annoyed with Dan & his buddies constantly "working" on an old truck in the driveway, bets that the group will never repair it by 4:00 on a Saturday. Dan scoffs, but soon finds himself scrambling to finish as one of his pals hits on Jackie.
  • Toto, We're Not in Kansas Anymore: A tornado is brewing over Lanford. In the Conner house, another storm is brewing. Roseanne is furious at Jackie for disappearing into the neighborhood. Soon, Crystal joins the frightened clan & all help each other get through the storm.
  • Workin' Overtime: Roseanne & Dan are both working overtime. Chaos reigns in the household, so Roseanne seeks refuge one night at a local diner. The waitress there helps her to realize that having a noisy house is not as bad as having an empty one.

Season 2:

  • An Officer & a Gentleman: When Roseanne is called away, Jackie impresses Dan & the kids with her homemaking skills.
  • April Fool's Day: On April 15, Dan & Roseanne offer the kids a frantic lesson in family accounting & visits the local IRS.
  • Boo!: The Conner family terrify each other out of their wits on Halloween night.
  • Brain-Dead Poets Society: Darlene is asked to read her winning poem on Culture Night at her school, but she would rather stay home to watch a ball game.
  • Chicken Hearts: Roseanne strains to treat her 17-year-old boss with respect so she can have weekends off to be with her family.
  • Five of a Kind: A kiss is just a kiss, but it could mean trouble when the kisser is Dan's buddy Arnie & the kissee is Roseanne.
  • Hair: Roseanne applies for a job at a beauty salon doing the same domestic chores that she does at home.
  • House of Grown-Ups: After a lonely architect who works with Dan has dinner at the Conners', he attempts to buy their friendship.
  • Inherit the Wind: Roseanne tries her hand at telephone solicitation while trying to console Becky who had an embarrassing accident in front of the school council.
  • Lobocop: Dan disguises himself in an attempt to win back Roseanne's affections.
  • One for the Road: When the parents are away, Becky & her friend Dana play with a little help from the liquor cabinet.
  • Sweet Dreams: Roseanne tries to get a few minutes of relaxation in the bathtub, but she ends up getting constant interruptions from her family & a fantasy about two hunks.
  • We Gather Together: On Thanksgiving Day, Jackie finally spills the news of her new job to Mom & Dan's dad butters up Crystal.

Season 3:

  • Becky, Beds & Boys: Dan & Roseanne get a new bed, but it's no bed of roses when they meet Becky's beer-drinking date.
  • Bird is the Word: Becky gains popularity at school after flashing a defiant hand gesture, but it's mom who's called to meet with the principal.
  • Communicable Theater: Domestic duties keep Roseanne from helping Jackie memorize her lines for a community-theater production.
  • Confessions: During a visit from her mom, Roseanne realizes that her mother considers her to be mearly ordinary.
  • The Courtship of Eddie, Dan's Father: Dan's dad visits; Roseanne plays matchmaker for a customer & Crystal.
  • Dream Lover: Dan is in for a nightmare when Roseanne, who has doubts about his fidelity meets the woman of his dreams.
  • Friends & Relatives: Lending money to pal Arnie comes easily for Dan, but he believes that borrowing from family only adds up to disaster.
  • Home=Ec: Darlene is embarrassed when her mom leads a field trip to the supermarket on career day at school.
  • Like, A New Job: Roseanne lands a waitress job at the mall restaurant where Becky & Darlene hang out.

  • Trick or Treat: Roseanne, mistaken for a guy in her lumberjack Halloween costume, plays along.
  • The Wedding: Roseanne dives into wedding preparations, while Dan continues to give his father the silent treatment.
