I realized that there are a lot of things even from my childhood that are quickly becoming things of the past and that kids today will never be exposed to.

• Movies came out to rent after they were released to in the theatre - they weren't available for purchased until some time later. I actually have a lot of VHS tapes I bought "Previously Viewed" from Blockbuster - they were She's All That & Can't Hardly Wait. I didn't want to wait for the VHS to be released. DVD's where available to purchased the day VHS tapes were available to rent.
• Movies took much longer to come out to rent & purchase!
• "Be kind, rewind." - No need to rewind these days.
• ABC's TGIF! with these shows anywhere in the lineup ... Full House, Step By Step, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Sister Sister, Just the Ten of Us, Dinosaurs, Two of a Kind.
• When the Disney Channel's lineup consisted of these shows - Flash Forward, The Torkelson's & Almost Home, The Baby-Sitter's Club, Ready or Not, Adventures in Wonderland, Kids Incorporated, Bug Juice, The Mickey Mouse Club,
• When the Disney Channel "original" movies consisted of ... Susie Q, Wish Upon A Star, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, The Parent Trap II.
• Christina Milian was Tina from the Disney Channel's Movie Surfers.
• TBS was called TBS Superstation & aired reruns of Saved By the Bell, California Dreams after school.
• Banana hair clips, shoelace hair bows, the side ponytail, layered socks & anything that displayed every single neon color.
