i talk. too much.

• the way that all the background music is so muted in all his sadder songs and it relies solely on his vocals is so beautiful. it's like he's talking to the air almost, rather than the listener, but it's still engaging. he invests you in the story he's telling and he barely needs help to do it.
• the emotions he conveys in all his songs. he's a very stone person to me, private and quiet. never really speaks too much. he's a bit closed off but it's not in a way that's teasing like he's holding back it's just who he is. but when he sings it's like you can see every single thing he says. he weaves such an intricate story despite using vague lyrics because it's all told through his voice. it's so gorgeous.
• even though the background music isn't the main focus it's still unmatched to any artist i've ever heard. the way it flows so seamlessly with the mood of the song and his voice is so.. so good. god.
• chambers. just all of it. such an underrated song. i remember really listening to it for the first time, not just sitting there like "Hm. Music." and it literally shocked me. it sounds like such a tame, defeated song and then partway through? when he says:
  • i've given my heart to you//you know it's ways//yes in it's chambers you have lived//though lately you have come to realize//that for the bullets that you fire//i'm the main supplier//i'm the one//the trigger for your gun
• and you can hear how smug he is. he is one smooth motherfucker and by god i'm not complaining. that song goes so insanely hard. fuck it up tamino.
• sun may shine and so it goes need more recognition for being two of the best fucking songs ever goddamn written. specifically sun may shine but so it goes you Fuck too.
• the vocals and the background music in sun may shine GOD. it's so tame and then BAM he's FUCKED YOU UP !!!!! this was one of the songs that really got my attention. of course habibi was like :) bitch cmere simp :) but... god.. the vocals? the falsetto part?? the DUN DUNDUNNNS in it?? sweet god no man has ever made my eyes roll back like that. fuck it up tamino. fuck it up.
