hoseokie-hyung is your friend BUT hr is NOT your friend

To put it real short, Jimin’s probably in love with his best friend and he’s having a not-so-minor breakdown about it.

Jimin invites his friends over to Taehyung's house for a game of drinking and liquor (that usually leaves them a little… crazy). They begin drinking Taehyung's homemade shots, which include leftover pizza and weird fruits and… yeah.

The one where Kim Taehyung is not a bad guy, just a graffiti artist painting illegally, and he meets the singing angel that is Park Jimin, who doesn't really condone his work.

Taehyung is not the happiest person in the world when he finds out when he finds the bloody corpses of his two employees , and hes not any happier when he finds the pink gun obnoxiously placed right next to them...and hes not exactly jumping with excitement when he remembers the giggly, wild eyed, madman who once owned it.

Jimin is secure in his feelings for Taehyung until the members start questioning what exactly their relationship is. Jimin doesn't see what's so strange about the two of them and denies everything at first, but he also can't get it out of his head, he can't help but question what the look in Taehyung's eyes means, and why it seems so different now, even though technically nothing's changed about it at all.

Could it be that Jimin is the one changing?

Taehyung loves Jimin with all his heart and all he wants is for Jimin to understand, but sometimes Jimin is just so stubborn.

Working at a skating rink is surprisingly not that fun, but Taehyung helps out with that.

all jimin wanted to do was ask a few questions, not get hit on in the middle of the airport in front of everyone

Kim Taehyung is in love, has been in love for several years following liking someone to the extent that everyone thought they were already married, them being him and his boyfriend, Park Jimin.

Jungkook has been studying all week and ignoring his boyfriends, but then Jimin finally gets him to join them for dinner. (Honestly there's no plot, it's just pure fluff. Just vminkook being cute while feeding each other)

Hoseok brings home a pig and Jimin unwillingly goes along with it.

jimin catches a cold and taehyung is determined to make him feel better.

it's date night and jimin wants to take taehyung somewhere special.

Jimin's been craving intimacy ever since he stepped off campus yesterday evening, feeling positively dead after his last midterm.

jimin is still trying to fight that cold.

in which jimin is a tired customer and taehyung is a cashier who happens to fall a little bit in love.

One of the surest ways to piss off Kim Taehyung is to leave Lindor wrappers on his desk. Just ask Jimin.

jimin and taehyung are complete opposites most of the time but they always manage to meet in the middle.

In which Taehyung causes a bit of a disturbance at the zoo Jimin works at, but Jimin's okay with it.

Jimin meets Taehyung's parents and someone falls a little in love.

Even though Taehyung and the others insist he's perfect, Jimin can't help but think of himself badly. It's why he's in this situation in the first place.

this is only the first flight after all — interlude : wings

Taehyung is obsessed with finding something more. Hoseok is obsessed with finding something other than what he has. A one-sided correspondence from Taehyung to Jimin.

If a glitch on a dating app was all Jimin and Taehyung needed to finally admit their feelings for each other, then something was clearly wrong with the world.

"You know that thing that people do in movies, where they’re trying to get over someone so they completely cut them out of their life, and it’s really sad and they cry a lot and then it’s fine? I’m in the process of that.”

Taehyung hadn't expected for the snaps to turn into that.

Taehyung is at work and Jimin is lonely.

Taehyung and Jimin, Jimin and Taehyung, and all the ways they fit together.

Basically just a drabble of vmin being husbands. domestic fluff. really plain.

every angel has a demon to balance them out, and jimin's happens to be taehyung. souls start going missing, and all hell breaks loose, perhaps a little too literally.

Jimin falls in love with Kim Taehyung, the beautiful barista with the emotionally abusive boyfriend.

When Jeongguk breaks Taehyung down, Jimin is there to fix him.

"I'm still mad." Jimin said sleepily with a hint of a laugh as Taehyung rubbed peach-scented lotion into his ass.

"No, you're not." Taehyung said, leaning forward to kiss Jimin's neck. "You were never mad."

if it weren't for jimin, taehyung supposes he would've given up on life a while ago.

A strange woman in a strange coffee shop, who causes a series of strange events.

Jimin feels lucky that at the very least, Taehyung hasn't changed a bit.

All Taehyung wanted was to buy some damn bell peppers. He hadn't counted on some weirdo crying in Trader Joe's over a cabbage.

What a strange sight it must have been: two men shyly waving to each other, one hidden away from the world in the comfort of freshly baked bread and sugar, and the other, out in the open, mesmerized by cotton candy hair and streaks of flour. Taehyung must have realized how strange this would have looked to any passerby, must have realized that he looked like a shy preschooler waving to a new playmate on the playground.

Taehyung must have realized this because he, who rarely felt embarrassed, blushed.

And promptly ran from the bakery.

Prompt: Hot lifeguards might just make Jimin change his feelings toward waterparks entirely.

Tae and Jimin move in together and they're both a bit scared.

it was the summer of ‘07 when 16 year old park jimin and kim taehyung had met -- falling in love; promising that in 10 years time, they would meet again at the botanical garden that had once called home.

ok first of all don’t kink-shame me

ok let’s put the existential crisis on hold for a second shall we buddy

Jimin only picks the prettiest flowers for the prettiest boy next door.

it’s a strange set of circumstances, when jimin first meets taehyung.

in which Taehyung has a crisis, and Jimin is only a phone call away.

In which the center position is everything Jimin has ever wanted while Taehyung couldn't care any less about fame.

It feels too good. Taehyung feels too good.

And my heart feels bad—so damn terribly bad.

“We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to—whether wanted or unwanted.”

Taehyung stares into the camera lenses with cold, piercing eyes while Jimin flashes back to the past with every shutter click, because Jimin remained stuck in the spark of summers while Taehyung has changed from head to toe.

And Yoongi saved Jimin from the pits of rock bottom.

He spots the first sign Taehyung talked about the second he enters the building. Right there and In Your Face is a large, bright red poster covered in glitter reading JOIN THE ASTRONOMY CLUB in big letters, and IT’LL BE OUT OF THIS WORLD emphasized right below it. Jimin smiles and shakes his head, veering down the hallway to his right.

There’s a bunch more signs with arrows and more space puns along the way, and Jimin rolls his eyes at the thought of Taehyung staying up till 3am to write ‘what songs do planets like to sing? Nep-tunes!’ in purple glitter glue.

Taehyung's date doesn't show. Jimin comes to cheer him up.

getting your consciousness digitally re-uploaded after death isn't all that bad. or: taehyung’s favorite virtual reality is the one with jimin in it.

hoseok, on the other hand, was strongly against it. there was no way in hell his son’s devious, troublesome boyfriend was coming over without him home. who knows what that scoundrel would try to pull on his son without them home? hoseok knows what taehyung’s after, and by god he was going to do everything in his power to stop that from happening.

Taehyung swears he knows that boy from somewhere. Jungkook swears that Taehuyng is an idiot.

Turns out, they're both right.

Jeongguk's first time meeting his new neighbors included a wavering stack of move-in boxes, a burnt casserole, and an embarrassing amount of flavored lube.

There's a finality to it all - taping the last box shut, zipping his last suitcase closed. Given everything that they've been through together, the weeks, months, years intertwining their lives, it seems too easy, the way it fell apart.

Jimin wants to meet his true love soon.

a plane flight that lasts over 10 hours can be pretty boring, unless you meet the right stranger

Jimin has a lot of doubts, a lot of insecurities. So when he encounters Kim Taehyung one day, as he walks across campus with Hoseok, it's not surprising that he thinks he doesn't stand a chance.

Taehyung and Jimin are models that are rivals, well not exactly but Taehyung is sure that he hates Jimin.

He remembers seeing Jimin for the first time, looking just as beautiful as he did now, albeit with hair a little more pink to match the lingering end tendrils of winter. Taehyung remembers fumbling over his words the next summer when they meet again, his voice a little more controlled, and his heart on his sleeve.

"The other kids think that Jimin is strange. And he is, to be fair. Sometimes Jimin talks to people that aren’t there. Sometimes he starts crying, randomly, and then a moment later the wailing siren of an ambulance or police car can be heard outside. Sometimes he just shuts down and won’t talk to anyone."

jimin wants to sleep; taehyung wants the company.

Taehyung meets Jimin one night with a necklace that means the worst thing possible: the gang that destroyed his life is in town, and Jimin is one of their members.

In which Jimin and Taehyung finally share their first kiss.

Taehyung and Jimin plan a camping trip to the woods to finally get their shit together, but things don't go as planned and they end up stuck with Jungkook the entire weekend.

Taehyung is cranky, Jungkook is sulky, and Jimin fears he will get squished to death sleeping between his friends in their way-too-tiny tent.

Jimin would like to say that his favorite thing about the camping trip he went on with Taehyung and Jungkook the previous weekend was something heartwarming and inspiring, like how nice it had been to spend quality time together with his friends in the woods, or how much he had enjoyed being in touch with nature, or even how wonderful it had been when Taehyung and he kissed for the first time next to that campfire, subsequently coming clean about the feelings they felt for each other.

However, it was none of that.

Not that those things hadn’t been nice, but Jimin’s actual favorite thing about that weekend was none other than the feeling of Taehyung’s half-hard dick pressing against his ass in the morning.

Taehyung's best friend Jiminie went missing when he was twelve years old.

Six years later Taehyung is working in New York's most prestegious strip club, LIE, when he meets the owner of the club and his boss, a mob syndicate heir who looks eerily like the best friend he had thought was dead.

"He's walking this way, grab my ass!"

"But mine's coming this way too, grab my hand!"

Or the one where Yoongi and Jimin fake-date to make their unrequited love(s) jealous.

“Go out with me.” Jimin looks at Taehyung and says, “We’re outside already but sure, where do you want to go?” Taehyung frowns, “No, I mean, go out with me, let’s date.”

When a curious Taehyung clicks on a live webcam instead of his usual meme page.

In which Taehyung discovers that Park Jimin-sweetheart of the entire school-isn't exactly as sweet as he seems.

Who even reads books on trains anymore? Let alone books with titles like 'Returning to the Motherland- How to Unbirth Yourself' or 'Killroy Was Here- a Legacy of the Memes'.

being in a relationship with the nation's first love is nothing but ordinary, but jimin finds that he doesn't mind one bit.

“Anytime for the love of my life.”

When the object of his workplace obsession offers to help him move, and subsequently moves himself in, Jimin hopes that his lonely daydreams are coming true. Until, the silver-tongued squatter begins to demolish Jimin's 'happy place' and inflict fresh wounds over old scars.

Devastated and frustrated, Jimin soon meets a new cuddle-client who encourages him to question—and ask for—what he really wants.

ineffable: (adj) too great to be expressed in words

Jimin begins his summer working at a high end fashion magazine as a regular desk employee before he then earns the most feared position in the market: Kim Taehyung’s assistant.

taehyung rims jimin within an inch of his life and then they cuddle and there's aftercare and fluff

Taehyung's teammate gets too handsy, and Jimin, student council president, needs to remind him just who he belongs to.

The sins are doomed to live over and over again as humans until the one time all seven of their lives converge, and maybe- maybe this time they can go home.

Being human is a struggle.

everyone kind of expects taehyung and jimin to have a baby together some day. taking a break and separating once they learned about the pregnancy? not so much.

Jimin finds himself stumbling upon the theatre organization where Kim Taehyung is part of and Jimin has a crisis.

taehyung liked silly songs about love before he fell for him - now he hates them.

Maybe it isn’t love at all, just the familiarity and warmth of seeing Jimin, and all the rushing happiness in that alone, and all the crushing weight of the world that goes along with it.

Reincarnation is a kind of fucked up experience.

"You don't know what true love is, if you're in love with the joker."

At fifteen years old, Taehyung is slowly but surly falling in love with his best friend. But a chance encounter with a strange man in a nice suite brings with it a tragedy that splits them apart, their budding romace is cruley cut short and Taehyung spends years trying to forget it; trying to exist as Taehyung without Jimin.

Years later, Taehyung is finally happy. He lives in the city, in a small apartment with a job he loves and a boyfriend he loves even more. But an unexpected reunion threatens to tear apart the life he's built and he is forced to revisit the feelings he buried years ago.

Taehyung stumbles across a VMIN fanfic while procrastinating on his laptop.

Sexual confusion ensues.

It ends in the two of them fucking, while Taehyung's life seemingly collapses around his ears.

Or the one were Jin and Hoseok really need to get laid, Jimin is sad, and all ends with fluff and smut because why the hell not.

Taehyung believes in soulmates. He believes in soulmates to the moon and back, with the sort of fervor reserved for children and lunatics.

Jimin believes in soulmates. He’s just not sure he wants his.

jimin is a bit too fond of the boy behind the counter.

It’s really not hard, pretending to be in love with Jimin.

Or, Taehyung and Jimin star in a drama together and it's cute.

Or alternatively: The other members are getting impatient waiting for the two idiots to profess their undying love for one another. Or something like that.

“There’s this, ah. A saying he always said to me. He always called me his blue crayon. He was an artist, right? So he always said that he needed me to fill in the sky for him so that he could see the clouds he loved so much. That without his blue crayon, how would he see the whiteness of nature’s abundance in the air?”

(In other words, Jimin loses his feelings when Taehyung leaves to pursue the immortal stars)

Jimin's just too cute when he's desperate.

Taehyung ended up sick yet again, and Jimin desperately wanted to say "I told you to just put a coat on" but Taehyung was so bad that he didn't have the heart.

He ended up sitting by his bedside and pouring out false orange medicine while counting hours till morning.

Jimin wakes up in the middle of the night, knowing that something's off.

“Never is an awfully long time.”

jimin visits a dog café without a dog and he meets taehyung, the owner of the dog café and taehyung persuades the other to bring a dog home.

The one where Jeongguk dares Jimin and Taehyung to kiss and it unravels a lot of feelings. But mostly more kisses.

Or the one where Jimin's heart is stupid and Jimin's best friend is actually irresistible. Who'd've thunk, huh?

Taehyung has a rather unimpressive dream and Jimin knows just the way to soothe him.

Taehyung, high-school dropout at the young age of 15, is now 18 and in some deep shit. His supposed 'team' isn't helping and it serves him right, he should have studied math. This is what he gets for pursuing a life of crime.

  • the other half of him(self)

[] Taehyung opens his eyes at the sound of Jimin’s tinkling laughter. “Does my dick amuse you, Jimin?”

Jimin licks his lips, smile threatening to engulf them both. “I just really love you,” Jimin says, voice just on the right side of teasing.

The school starts to take notice of Jimin.

Taehyung has always noticed.

Never is an awfully long time.

Just because Taehyung didn't understand the circumstances that didn't mean he didn't enjoy them.

Jimin has to leave for work and Taehyung is real fucking sad about it, and a lot lonely, and maybe a little sex deprived.

it's all fun and games until taehyung decides to throw jimin's source of peace down the bin

"i was only going to complain about the shitty service here but then i regretted demanding to meet the manager because it's you."

It's been years since Jimin's death, but the wound is still fresh on Taehyung's mind. He'll never let Yoongi forget as long as they both live.

(No matter how much Yoongi hurts, he'll continue wanting Taehyung.)

It’s the word Taehyung and Jimin both came to hate when they learned what it meant. It’s more a curse than a blessing to them.

Once you find your soulmate, you’ll forget every person who you’ve been emotionally attached to in your previous life. You’ll forget every little detail, every memory you’ve made.

And they haven't found their soulmates yet.

Jimin makes a memo for each lie that Taehyung tells, one for every day.

"For every lie that you tell, I'm going to write it down, and you're gonna have to pay for it." laughs Jimin.

"Well you're the doctor, not me. Let's see if you can make a crazy patient pay." Taehyung smirks. Challenge accepted.

Jimin has just had the hottest idea of his life.

In other words Jimin can't seem to catch a break while Taehyung just wants some damn shampoo.

"Dude, our entire relationship could be an Ed Sheeran album."

"i fucking hate you. i really wish i could punch your god damn face and beat you to a pulp."

"then do it," jimin challenges. "or are you afraid that i might just be better at it than you are?"

Taehyung touches himself with Jimin's voice in his head.

Jimin never said he loved Taehyung.

Or, Taehyung harbors an unrequited love for his bestfriend.

jimin was supposed to stay gone. but he came back, against all odds, while taehyung was stuck in the suburban recesses of a dying city, wiling the days away and waiting for nothing. he isn’t waiting for nothing anymore — he’s waiting for something. he’s waiting for the inevitable chokehold, the bared teeth, the fingernail crescent moons in cheap, red leather. there is still nothing, but it’s a different kind of nothing.

Taehyung is a workaholic and doesn't have much time for anything, at least until he meets Jimin.

And maybe, just maybe, Jimin is worth making time for.

"Hate the sin, love the sinner."

Someone who would rather die than fall again. Someone who gave up on living. Someone who cannot live without his everything. The three 'brothers' were never brothers to each other.

Taehyung has always been a firm believer of love. He believes in soulmates and sweet fiction and that if it's not one person, it would be another.

Or, in which Taehyung meets the love of his life in three different person and timeframe, but sometimes it just isn't meant to be.

It’s not that Jimin was scared of dog hybrids. He just really really didn’t like them because how could he? Dog hybrids were gross.

Kim Taehyung was tall, slim, had gentle but defined features, the most perfect eyebrows Jimin had ever seen and a playful glint in his eyes. But most importantly - he was a dog hybrid.

it's all just a huge game to kim taehyung, and park jimin loses to him time and again.

The 9-Lives are a race of cat-like people sent here from another planet. Their sole purpose is to serve humans as slaves. As their name implies, they have nine lives to spend, as long as they are not "too dead." Each 9-Life has to give eight of their lives to a human master before returning to their home planet, where they will spend their final life. Park Jimin is a young 9-Life trying to make his living on earth without becoming someone's 'pet.' Although this can be quite challenging, things take a turn for him when he meets a human by the name of Kim Taehyung.

Everyone knows that the best part of any carnival is the kissing booth.

New York's all about looking up at skyscrapers and going down on your knees.

"Okay, so let me check it out," Jimin says, just as Taehyung turns the phone toward him. Under the low light of the room, Jimin makes out a familiar blue icon on the right side of the screen, and—

"Oh, shit."

Here when I say "I never want to be without you," somewhere else I am saying "I never want to be without you again."

Taehyung never quite remembers how it all ends in each life; he only knows that it always hurts, and that he'd always been the first to leave. Only knows that he writes the opposite because maybe then it'd change this time.

Jimin and Taehyung find taking baths together relaxing and comforting.

“i’ll help you figure it out,” jimin says, and immediately thinks, what the hell am i saying? help a ghost figure out how being a ghost works?

but suddenly taehyung’s smiling, and it’s so unexpected and bright that jimin loses his train of thought. he says, “thanks, i’m so relieved!” and jimin thinks, alright, that’s what i’m doing, then. has no idea, really, what he’s getting himself into.

Jungkook knows he should be grateful for everything he has, but oh, how he wants.

“I love you,” Jimin whispers, “and after tomorrow you’ll never have to miss me again.”

Jimin’s favorite days are rainy ones. He loves the cold weather, which is absolutely perfect for his favorite tea. He loves how people rarely came out and stay inside, making everything blank and quiet, the only noise being the soft pitter patter of the raindrops once they’ve made contact with a solid. He loved that the rain made Jeongguk fall asleep, something that he has never been able to do easily.

But most of all, he loved rainy days because of Taehyung.

Taehyung doesn't know how to live without Jimin by his side so instead he waits and he watches the sunrise from his window, waiting for Jimin to come back home.

“I would’ve held on tighter.”

Jimin would have loved to enjoy the calm atmosphere as well. But he couldn’t. Because today was the day he had to kiss Taehyung. That’s right, kiss him. On the lips. No sneaky tricks, no well-placed thumbs, no camera angles, no nothing. A real kiss, caught on camera to later be broadcast on a giant screen during their upcoming concert if he was lucky or on national television if he wasn't.

taehyung falls asleep with the words 'i wanna be with you' playing over and over again in his head. and he dreams of being with jimin.

“He wasn’t a spirit, Taehyungie,” Namjoon answered between the lines.

But Taehyung watched his reflection on the moonlit waters, caught echoes of healing laughter with each soft ripple and wondered about capturing the past.

some things make sense without needing to be explained; constants like taehyung-and-jimin belong under that classification, even though it takes some time for either of them to realise.

“i wrote a letter to the moon,” taehyung says. the night sky is clear of clouds but not void of stars. the moon shines a familiar kind of light that taehyung knows, though from another place, another time, another life. the weight and warmth resting against his chest and arms circling his waist is even more familiar. “that we would be together.”

After he's taken commemorative selcas, looking for Taehyung in the crowd of athletes but unable to find him, Hoseok snores fill up the empty spaces in the bed beside him. The warm summer breeze flows through the curtains, tickling Jimin's body. Jimin stares into the darkness, listening to the quiet rush of water from the fountains outside. His heart twists in his chest as he turns onto his side. And Jimin hopes, and hopes, and hopes.

“Uh, I – I’m looking for – spicy-flavored ramen. It’s my best friend’s favorite and I want – I have to bring it to him.”

Jeongguk is aware that he probably sounds like a bumbling idiot right now, forcing the words out and barely sounding coherent, but he couldn’t stand the worried looks Jimin and Taehyung kept giving him so he had to say something. Even then, when Taehyung is walking down the aisle trying to find the type of ramen Jeongguk is talking about, Jimin still looks worried, like he’s half-expecting Jeongguk to crumble to dust right in front of his eyes if he says the wrong thing, if he breathes the wrong way.

Jeongguk finds himself looking into Jimin’s big, beautiful brown eyes, and that’s when he remembers his mother’s words. When he knows just who, and most importantly, what are Taehyung and Jimin to him.

Taehyung’s favorite color used to be red. It was partly because it was his color in a way.

But now?

Now his favorite color, oddly enough for one of his kind, was black.

taehyung and jimin fell in love. then they fell apart.

several months after, taehyung is falling apart by himself, and jimin can't stand it.

Park Jimin has always taken comfort in his soulmate. Knowing that someone out there is connected to him through the red string tied around their fingers. Kim Taehyung, however, likes to make his life a lot more interesting.

Because Kim Taehyung's string isn't around his finger.

It's around his neck.

Jimin supposes he shouldn't be surprised when Taehyung is claimed as a child of Hades, but he is.

Jimin works at a busy coffeeshop four days a week, scribbling names after names on cups.

It's unfortunate, and just Jimin's luck, that the cutest new casual only likes to call himself Overwatch characters.

There's something in the air in Dubai and Jimin finds himself falling in love.

taehyung gets too much stress from working so much & it makes jimin sad to he decides to help him rest.

Jimin thinks about his manz a lot when he wakes up on a hot ass day to find Taehyung glued to his leg full of morning grumps and fond memories.
