I love reading slice of life stories the most. ones that have plots that resemble real life, where nothing really happens, just life. just friendship or realising you're in love with your childhood friend and not knowing what to do about it. I'm really into friendship. friends teasing each other, team bonding, friends learning stuff together and growing up.
I'm not picky in terms of rating as long as the story is coherent. say, I wouldn't mind reading a sex scene if there's a reason behind it and if it helps the plot development/character grow, etc. I'm also a sucker for happy endings and/or open endings.
I have things I'm not comfortable reading as well, and those include: character death, gender bend, body swap, anything involving children (re: kid!au, babysitter!au, we-bonded-after-finding-this-lost-child-crying-in-the-street!au, etc), prostitution, mprg, horror, supernatural, ABO verse, pwp, non-con.
