"How long have you two been fucking?" Jun-ho asked.

Gi-hun choked on his water, and In-ho's soul left his body for a moment there.

Seong Gi-hun receives a series of letters and gifts to himself (and subsequently the baby) from Hwang In-ho for months after winning the games and escaping the island with a duffle bag in one hand and Jin-ae cradled in his other.

Gihun becomes co-Frontman alongside Inho, trying to dismantle the system from within, whether that means sabotaging the workplace, organizing the guards into a union, or even… seducing Inho himself.

In-ho makes a different choice before Gi-hun can. He breaks protocol. Starts the evacuation early.

After the Game, Gi-hun and In-ho are two men carrying the same kind of broken—grief-torn, guilt-heavy, and haunted by the choices that kept them breathing. What begins as excruciatingly fragile proximity deepens into something unshakable: a child who needs them both, feelings neither of them dare to name, and the terrifying, hard-won hope that they might still be worthy of joy. Orbiting the wreckage of who they used to be, they begin again—not cleanly, but together.

But peace doesn’t come easy. Not when the past hunts them with a badge and a grudge. Not when the line between guilt and forgiveness won’t stay still. As secrets unravel and old wounds split open, Gi-hun and In-ho must fight harder than ever—not for survival this time, but for a future they finally believe they deserve.

In-ho never expected he would live for long. With how he had been throwing his life away, he always figured death would come knocking long before anyone else he knew.

Yet, somehow, despite it all, he was the only one still standing.

Years of hard work, all of it undone by the death of the one person he had tried so desperately to protect.

But in the end, he was also the one who had abandoned that same person to his death.

That truth lived in his bones. A constant, ever-present ache.

A what-if scenario where Gihun kills the remaining finalists.

He let himself fall.

Only to wake up again, in the burning hands of the one he should hate.

Gi-hun was supposed to die on that island. His elimination was the only thing that stood between Jun-hee and the finish line, and he was ready to die so that she and her baby could live. He lost himself to those games. It was the death that he deserved.

But, at the last minute, the Front Man steps in. The game ends. The island is blown to bits. And Gi-hun is sent back to his miserable life. Only now, he has a baby and her injured, traumatized mother relying on him.

Death is no longer an option, at least not until Jun-hee gets back on her feet. This leaves Gi-hun drowning in guilt, screaming into an endless sea of shame and confusion, and the only person who can hear his cries is the same person that pulled him into the darkness.

In-ho has been hiding in the dark for years. Since becoming the Front Man, he hasn’t let anyone get too close, not even Jun-ho. Life is easier when no one can see him. But when Gi-hun stumbles into the darkness, beaten down by the same system that ate In-ho alive, In-ho takes a chance and reveals himself.

What starts as a quest for mutual understanding quickly spirals into a secret exploration of their twisted attraction. But nothing can stay hidden in the shadows forever.

Gi-hun doesn’t die in the last game, and In-ho does everything in his power to save him.

Five months after surviving the deadly game, Seong Gi-Hun can’t remember how it ended — only the betrayal that haunts him. Struggling with pain and confusion, he’s told he survived a car crash he doesn’t recall. Then, in a dizzy haze, he’s knocked unconscious and wakes up bound and blindfolded in a moving car. A familiar touch sends chills through him — it’s the man he swore he’d never see again. When their past and present collide in one desperate kiss, Gi-Hun realizes some games never truly end.

It's been months since the games, since Gi-hun has begrudgingly allowed In-ho to stay with him and the baby - named Jun-byeok. In that time, In-ho and Gi-hun face a whirlwind of feelings for each other, but never the correct one. Until, late in the night, In-ho finds Gi-hun and Jun-byeok not in Gi-hun's room. Eventually finding the two downstairs. Gi-hun and In-ho finally have that conversation they were supposed to have months ago.

The island is gone, Gi-hun is dead, and In-ho has the baby.

This is what happens in the six months after.

Gi-hun has received multiple gifts the moment he left the games. He finds them... quite endearing. Weird and creepy? Yes. But this stranger seems to care for him.

Five times Hwang In-ho sent his love anonymously, one time he didn't anonymously.
