plays for ashburnum's football and soccer teams. sociable on campus, enjoys being apart of fundraising and promoting/hyping up home games. golden boy for collecting donations to further improve ashburnum and its sport departments.

pretty well known he has a wealthy family -> anderson legacy/prestige on the line bullshit but surprise! doesn’t let it get to his head or even think abt flaunting his riches around, was taught to work for what he wants + has practiced selflessness throughout his life

at times, however, his parents’ high expectations can take a toll on his health. constantly battling the thought that he’s a disappointment, won’t figure out what to do with his degree if he even graduates, etc … especially when he struggles with schoolwork in the first place

it also heavily fucks with him when he’s being told that he’s gotta bring his grades up or else he has to drop taking sports; obviously; so catch him stressing out a lot

to help with this dilemma, brody is his tutor. he's very strict and all abt business just because he wants the best for his best friend. sometimes milo gets pretty envious of brody since he’s a whole scholar and even his parents r like “you should be more like brody” which BTW isn’t the most encouraging thing to hear milo openly expresses his feelings about that and brody helps him instead of belittling him or something because they are NOT abt that toxicity ! he will gladly sit with him for hours till homework AND studying is done

milo tries his best to be on good terms with everybody. somewhere down the line, westie's sad attempt at defamation seriously jeopardizes milo's well-being:

context: westie is jealous that milo has seemingly got it all going for him without any effort. he uses the excuse that he believes milo's whole demeanor is an elaborate act and he can't get behind disingenuity. westie has tried to completely take down milo's reputation by starting multiple bizarre rumors behind his back - which really goes to show how insecure he is & how he can’t even face milo in person. seeing how badly this affected milo, derrick and leon conducted an investigation together to find the culprit. sure enough it came to light in no time

• **derrick**

is the quarterback for the football team slash team captain, and milo’s other best friend. super positive and encouraging, a natural born leader. derrick has looked up to dean (star player) ever since highschool and even college, and once dean saw how he played, he handed his own jersey down to derrick who later took his place as quarterback. dean didn't see any reason to continue playing for the college team as it was finallyyyy in good hands.

milo and him are alike in a lot of ways so they hit it off immediately. met in highschool. they both wanted to pursue the same college just so that they could continue playing together, which worked out in their favor

note: milo is a wide receiver - all their years of built chemistry has clearly manifested itself out on the field, they work together super well

in a nutshell he’s a sour person... bummed about moving to new york, since it’s a whole nother experience being in a different country. it was a last resort as family issues were getting outta hand back home.

initially closes off everyone and doesn’t take the time to go out of his way to socialize. immediately seen as someone who doesn’t GAF because.. *he doesn’t*. he blows off steam by joining the soccer team once the season starts. milo on a journey to befriend every single one of his teammates was captivated by leon's tryout. he was determined to become his friend bc gawd was he good -- milo knew that he'd make the team. AND DID!

leon gave in to milo's antics and was like fuck it for once: why not? they like to watch soccer games together & overanalyze opposing teams' strats... one time while they were hanging out, milo noticed someone peeking from behind the living room shyly, and was dumbfounded bc he didn't know leon has a brother. that's +1 friend AND potential teammate in his mind !!!

leon doesn’t like westie at all (he will legit pick a fight anytime he sees him, he's waiting to catch him when they're by themselves). that’s basically how the two cliques have a bit of unresolved beef, when the two designated hotheads meet it’s chaos but it’s mostly (all) westie’s fault.

very close w his (twin) brother (leon), been thru thick & thin. became separated at one point where they ended up attending different schools: but: this did NOT stop leon from convincing him to join in the move to ny. obviously he was gonna say yes

milo introduces him to brody - marcelo was in awe... hmm... or was it something deeper... anyways he was super happy to know that there’s one more person out there he can fully be himself around without the tedious language barrier
