milo: plays both football and soccer. sociable on campus, he’s on good terms with everybody (or, at least, tries to be. westie is jealous that milo’s got it all going for him but uses the excuse that he thinks his whole demeanor is an act and dislikes it).

westie has tried to completely take down milo's reputation by starting multiple bizarre rumors, really goes to show how insecure he is and how he can’t even face milo in person. derrick and leon conducted an investigation together immediately to figure out who did it, and sure enough... it came to light in no time

wealthy family/anderson legacy/prestige on the line bullshit but surprise! doesn’t let it get to his head or even think abt flaunting his riches around, was taught to work for what he wants.

at times, however, his parents’ high expectations can take a toll on his health. constantly battling the thought that he’s a disappointment, won’t figure out what to do with his degree if he even graduates, etc … especially when he struggles with schoolwork in the first place

also heavily fucks with him when he’s being told that he’s gotta bring his grades up or else he has to drop taking sports obviously so catch him stressing out a lot. therefore brody is his tutor sometimes, very strict and all abt business just because he wants the best for him. milo gets pretty envious of brody since he’s a whole scholar and even his parents r like “you should be more like brody” which isn’t the most encouraging thing to hear... milo openly expresses his feelings about that and brody helps him instead of belittling him or something because they are NOT abt that toxicity ! he will gladly sit with him for hours till homework AND studying is done

derrick: is the quarterback for the football team slash team captain, and milo’s other best friend. super positive and encouraging, a natural born leader. derrick has looked up to dean (star player) ever since highschool and even college, and once dean saw how he played, he handed his jersey number down to derrick who took his place as quarterback after this matter dean didn't see any reason to continue playing for the college team as it was officially in good hands.

milo and him are alike in a lot of ways so they hit it off immediately. met in highschool. eventually become roommates after a certain turn of events that I don't feel like elaborating on rn

note: milo is a wide receiver so they have to have that special bond anyways awww too cute

leon: in a nutshell he’s a sour person... bummed about moving to new york, since it’s a whole nother experience being in a different country and not wanting to go back due to family issues -> not wanting to deal with it

initially closes off everyone and doesn’t take the time to go out of his way to socialize. immediately seen as someone who doesn’t GAF because.. *he doesn’t*. he blows off steam by joining the soccer team once the season starts. milo on a journey to befriend every single one of his teammates found leon during tryouts and was determined to become soccer buddies. leon gave in and was like fuck it for once: why not. they hang and watch soccer games together. one time while they were hanging out, milo noticed someone peekin from behind the living room, and was dumbfounded bc he didn't know leon has a brother ! +1 friend !!! milo also encouraged marcelo to join the soccer team.

leon doesn’t like westie at all (it takes a rude person to know a rude person and when he sees westie being mean to milo he will legit pick a fight). that’s basically how the two cliques have a bit of unresolved beef, when the two designated hotheads meet it’s chaos but it’s mostly westie’s fault

marcelo: very close w his (twin) brother (leon), been thru thick & thin. became separated at one point where they ended up attending different schools: but: this did NOT stop marcelo from going with him to new york

milo introduces him to brody - marcelo was in awe... super happy to know that there’s one more person out there he can fully be himself around w/o the tedious language barrier
