• HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD LIKE THERE'S A REASON WHY ITS SUCH A CULT CLASSIC. the writing is so... antique at times? unlike anything ive ever read. it is straightforward, riveting, vivid, and really places you into the world of ancient greece. the love is tragic, yet after everything, radiant, powerful. it's a book i'm definitely going to buy for myself. five huge stars
