It seems many people underestimate the importance of perseverance. It is now seen as very acceptable to be tired or afraid of your life's purpose. Why is this so? My position in life is far from outstanding, but without perseverance, I wouldn't even be where I am now. If I had allowed myself to be tired, scared, or despaired of all the hardships that I went through in my emigration, I would have long ago come back to the country that I left. Many of my compatriots have come back because of a lack of perseverance.
