- booking the train tickets from London to Oxford to Hay-on-Wye. firstly, booking them was gloriously easy, and secondly, i really hope that this wonderful trip is now getting real
- i'm immensely enjoying Jane the Virgin. Especially the always authentic, believable, relatable Jane and also how the series often wittily reflects on its own genre and pays so much attention to detail!
- an incredibly full and bright moon tonight that really shone onto the balcony
- finally receiving my food stamps and unexpectedly getting a compliment for my green nail-polish first thing Monday morning at work
- i'll get to go to Hamburg in July and travel with one of the publishing house's sales representatives and she also seems really nice
- pretty things i might like to buy: a harry potter colouring book, some ee jewellery, 'a long way to a small, angry planet' by becky chambers, also: the '100 hugs' book by Chris Riddell
- the English covers of some of the publisher house's books: 'the chilbury ladies' choir' and 'the other einstein'
- i wore really cute underwear today, stripey red comazo panties and the shiny blue bra with pink dots i got from Coxi, and it made everything a bit better
- the tram coming in just the right moment with just one minute wait when i really needed it
- Charlotte creating a whatsapp-group for watching the new season of Doctor Who together
- the Big Green Bookshop from North London and their twitter appeal and how i ordered books from them now and they'll also send me a copy of Ruby Tandoh's zine
- my pretty new orange lipstick
- this specific feeling of how i daydream my life to feel & look like some day: filled with books, "to-be-read-piles the size of Italy", tea, food ~ mostly inspired by tweets or pictures from lovely British people, e.g. Ella (obvs), but also by the library haunter and Josie George
