- the first season of 'Gentleman Jack' borrowed on dvd and half a pack of original pringles from Mirjam, stopping at the supermarket & buying all sorts of great silly things i normally never buy (honey mead! toast and those great horrible little plastic cheese slices! chocolate-covered marshmallows tasting like vanilla crescents!)
- my tea order from Lüneburg & my postcard invitations for my 30th birthday arrived and both look great
- night-time students' flea market & spontaneously going for sushi afterwards, also i love my new wintery blue jumper from the flea market (for just 3€!)
- the board-game 'Die Legenden von Andor' i got for Christmas: full on fantasy, with lots of room for creating it further
- the Danish pebbles i painted á la paperedthoughts are so cute
- making Ella's 'marital harmony sausage pasta' and discovering the alchemy of the very lowest heat (and what it does to butter, olive oil and onions)
- walking alongside Joachim Meyerhoff on the corridor for a bit and fangirling quite hard, but only internally
- a fiery orange-sorbet sunrise over that beautiful lake just before Cologne Trade-Fair
- nourishing my body and soul with a soy hot chocolate and panini on the penultimate work day, because i deserve to have it as nice as possible
- Laura‘s Linus saying „Hallo, Nina“ to me on the phone!
- a walk in sunny Regent’s Park at 11am on a Monday and seeing herons, what a luxury
- buying myself a beautiful Emma Bridgewater muesli bowl as a birthday present on my 30th birthday in London (it was 20% off! It was serendipity i even found the shop! They were only open one more half hour and i had a lovely chat with the cashier about this being a birthday treat for myself)
- the chocolate-brown pup who delightedly hopped into the big muddy puddle next to my bench in sunny Regent’s Park (she loves getting muddy, said her owner)
