- spending the first day of the new year in my pj's in bed with a book from christmas, also having tried my new hot water bottle, while outside there was sunshine and a crisp blue sky
- the 'Tatort' from Weimar with Nora Tschirner and Christian Ullmen. Hilarious, abstruse, amazing.
- reading good books. books you have to have with you at breakfast and in bed.
- finding lots of amazing new people to follow on instagram: sara darling, wishwishwish, dictiocanary and jenniferelizabeth
- finally bought the fancy alverde body lotion "mangobutter artichoke"
- found and re-installed the old and wonderful computer game "Pharao" - I'm building cities in ancient Egypt again!
- bought new teas ("Magic of the Orient" and "Sun of Africa") at the drug store - and found out that tea was 20% off this week and I petted a really cute dog outside of the store and had a nice chat with its owner
- delicious, self-made meal straight from the vegan cookbook I checked out from the library that day: whole grain spaghetti with a vegan tomato béchamel sauce
- received my very 1st postcard via Postcrossing! And it travelled all the way from Singapore and it even has cupcakes on it! ♥
- treated myself to a hazelnut hot chocolate (with soy milk, of course) at Starbucks. Incredible how filling and satisfying that is! Incorporating a tea/ coffee/ cake break into my days from now on?
- seeing a pretty pullover when i went jeans shopping, not buying it, coming back a few days later + seeing it's on sale for only 5€, buying it immediately
- this amazing little book ~ i only read one page in the bookstore and thought about it for days
- crying happy tears during the film Pride (2014)
- the 2 kilo net full of oranges on offer at the supermarket: super-sweet and juicy and delicious! I'm eating oranges all day :)
- two good hair days in a row
- an evening with Sarah Kl at the James Joyce pub I had wanted to visit for ages
- the beautiful wooden owl earrings Sarah Kl brought me from Portugal and gave me for Christmas ~ "mögen sie dir portugiesisches Eulenglück bringen" :)
- Blue sky and sunshine ~ even if it's cold
