- a swimming pool on the hottest day of the year and real butter on corncobs
- rain, thunder-stroms and hail to cool down these extremely hot temperatures
- the screams of seagulls you can sometimes hear in this city because we are so close to the Rhine ~ makes me dream of the seaside ♥
- a nice stranger in the rain escorted me to my house with his umbrella

- spending a day in Bochum meeting some of my old friends ~ going to the cinema with Katy, having a vegan burger and ice cream with Sarah, and drinking a beer with Sylvia and Nadine was just wonderful! ♥
- getting into a conversation about the possibility of teaching English abroad with Denise, a lovely Canadian lady, on the train back to Bonn
- celebrating the shock of being offered an internship in New York City with a new york cheesecake and an iced coffee at my favourite vegan café in Bonn
- i got a free basket for my bicycle (because the café next door to the vegan café was tidying up)
- having seen my first wild bunny in Bonn

- had a bite out of an incredibly un-vegan Bistro Baguette á la Provence and it was so delicious
