- getting Ella Risbriger's collected lipstick columns ♥ printed & bound. there are too many perfect sentences to underline them all!
- fancy plan for an evening by myself: chilled white wine, goat's cheese & grapes
- hearing Sarah Kr talk about the cutest little fromagerie in Paris close to the Père Lachaise cemetery with a lovely, very old lady behind the till (sounds like an adorable idea for a novel as well, doesn't it?)
- buying myself some scones and a sweet, red watermelon (because Ella Risbridger said on Twitter that no-one should eat penne just because it's a good everyday-pasta, one should always allow oneself special things and fancy food!)
- the first trailer for Disney's Moana: the amazing song by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the way Maui transforms from a man into an owl, the way the little pig's fluffy ears wiggle
- the 'refresher' shower jelly by lush ~ a reward for me from me, because i actually made the miracle of an immediate integration course happen for my refugee mentee seham. well done!
- looking after the cats from charlotte's aunt as a little summer job. that lovely, calm house. ♥ the beautiful kitchen, the little bridge. a delicious cappuccino. cuddly cats, even earning money with that, all around wonderful. also: realizing and appreciating what i have in Bonn.
- treating myself to vegan chips and an ice-cream. walking through bonn, taking my time. relaxing, appreciating the moment, actually seeing so many pretty things: the perfection of my imperfect nailpolish, cobbled streets, a nun's bright lavender gown. ordering a book on a whim. (and how very much i needed that pampering as a preparation for the volunteering work evening meeting. as if i had known.)
- the newly awakened pokemon craze with pokemon go and playing the old edition on my gameboy again
- freshly made chocolate pudding for breakfast
- small lovely encounters on the street: smiling at an impeccably dressed gentleman, who politely nodded back with a little smile & shouting "all clear" for a man on a bike who passed through the underpass, who smiled broadly and thanked me in return
- eating at a Greek restaurant with my Greek course, having Γαλακτομπούρικο for the first time in my life
- making my own fresh pesto (after asking Rapha for the recipe) ~ delicious grana padano cheese, fresh mint & watercress, pine nuts and sunflower oil
