- the new season of 'Only Murders in the Building' has already started, the 'Stranger Things' finale & a new Ali Hazelwood novella are coming and sneakily the 2nd season of 'New Amsterdam' has dropped
- the first proper stack of books from my new employer
- adventurous dreams at night
- today it hit me properly for the first time that i get to talk & do mailings about Tolkien for a living right now, that's a bit awesome
- scrambled eggs and a Marilyn Monroe film in bed
- had no time for breakfast and my canteen chip was still at the office to then be surprised by a colleague having brought home-made banana bread
- an early solo dinner out for the very first time since moving here, checking out a top breakfast location
- buying the sweets i had fantasized about for days (haribo gummi bears and nimm2 candy)
- being actually asked my professional opinion about manuscripts now
- i really like this upcoming book at my new employer, so nicely readable, i laughed out loud at one point, so much love in it and beautifully worded descriptions
- also working with specialist books on psychology now, a breakthrough just skimming one of the books on daring a new start, i even ordered it for myself
- the cinnamon-champagne-coloured rose in the garden on my way home
- pinkish-coral nail varnish on my toe nails
- having a freezer with ice-cubes & ice-cream now and being able to freeze soup
- Only Murders in the Building ♥ Mabel's wardrobe, seeing new bits of the Arconia, the self-referential remarks, the secret passageways!
- discovering a lovely little vegan shop on my way home, buying dionsaur pasta & soy whipped cream
- so many trailers for epic new tv series are out now: The Rings of Power, She-Hulk, The Sandman (coming to Netflix 5th August!)
- a Spider-Man stamp has been issued and in August cute frog & fire salamander stamps will follow
