- taking Zora, the fluffy little white dog, for an incredibly sunny walk and meeting Jules, the fashionable French French bulldog, with a fancy bordeaux-red silk bow-tie and his fabulous elderly French owner!
- a cute baby being held and rolled around on a suitcase past me as the train was late at Cologne main station
- seeing the peaceful bicycle demonstration for the World Climate Conference Bonn pass through, demonstrating cyclists actually thanking bystanding people for waiting
- the adorable boxer on my morning commute: her soulful eyes, sorrowfully wrinkled forehead and her velvety snout
- my colleague Selina offering help and boxes for me moving flats, an easily delighted baby at the tram stop who first loved being entertained by an exceptionally pretty boy and then by a girl on the tram
- crossing the beueler bridge so often now. the river, the sky, the seagulls, the mountains in the distance ♥
- passing the fruit stand at cologne main station and smelling the freshly pressed orange juice for a second
- matthias bendel offering me to use his family's washing machine if ever i need it :)
- wearing accidentally matching pretty underwear
- a new book by susan elizabeth phillips i haven't read & 'italian lemon' tea i'd like to try soon
- daydreaming of buying books at Waterstones in Brighton ♥ possibly: Alex Bell & Tomislav Tomic's The Polar Bear Explorers' Club, Philip Pullman's La Belle Sauvage, the Oxfam/ Waterstones edition of The Invisible Child And The Fir Tree, the Waterstones edition of Lincoln in the Bardo
- a telephone call from Laura ♥
- good things at work today: a visit from baby Nele, a compliment from my colleague Christina that i am a great help, a box full of reading copies for the spring programme from Random House, a compliment for my flowery pants from Heike
- a late-night one-hour-long telephone talk with Vladi, messages from Judith and Laura (even with a picture of her and Linus!)
