- gosh, i love the great british bake-off! the yorkshire puddings and lacey pancakes made me really happy
- how in my new shared flat people sometimes just shout 'hello' or 'see you later' when they come or leave. you don't have to say where you're going or where you're coming from, and it is still such a nice gesture of company (and a bit much needed distance)
- being in a real, proper, inspirational twitter discussion with missellabell and other lovely ladies about tights in autumn colours: mustard, berry, charcoal, maroon, dark plum, burnt umber, possibly teal!
- i discovered my patronus and it's a nebelung cat! They seem really clever and kind, and i think they look incredibly elegant as well, and reading about its behavioral characteristics basically felt like reading a description of myself
- Sue's and Mel's yoga postures at the beginning, Sue's little jumpy step in episode 5 of season 7, the amuse-bouches and the prospect of next week's botanical week
- and my pottermore wand is made from "pear wood with a unicorn hair core, 10" and slightly yielding flexibility"! yay!
- my pretty, free and recycled bicycle seat cover from eco-supermarket 'Momo'
- randomly deciding to watch a Tatort and finding out it's a Münsteraner one
- the amazing new series 'Victoria' with Jenna Coleman ~ her gowns, her hair-styles, her silvery blue eyes, her Lord Melbourne and Prince Albert
- buying a hokkaido squash, orange-mango juice and baked beans (the latter two being almost a meal from the first Tana French novel)
- making amazing self-made pizza with this bauckhof pizza backmischung & listening to Harry Potter cassettes
