• 8/5: snowed in the morning, having migoreng for lunch and seeing people in corridor for once (Aleksi, Alex, Johan), having a lazy day at home, being absolutely depressed by the news that it's our last basketball practice for the semester :((((((( when I thought I had at least a month left, frying pork and trying to hide it from Kamil, taking photos of things to sell, playing basketball, hitting the decks by guy that always calls me girl, talking a bit more with Marcus, Gustav and David (about Valborg, what I study, him liking Uppsala, me liking Uppsala, I look forward to Mondays bc of basketball, their competitiveness which is a good thing etc) (and a bit with Johanna), telling Gustav to organise basketball practices despite not being able to play in Katedralskolan, biking home with David and Gustav even after trying to say I bike slow (talked about them living in Gotlands, Gustav getting an apartment closer to Ekonomikum, me living in Flogsta, why I chose Sweden - different, etc)
• 9/5: snowing yet again, having lazy day yet again, rushing to do laundry, grocery run for Nutella French toast scrolls, shopping at ICA, heat up dinner, clean, make Nutella French toast scrolls, pick up laundry in case of theft, clean mess from cooking, fold clothes, trying to watch first semi-final of Eurovision but failing but watching Isaiah's performance and being disappointed
• 10/5: having a lazy day yet again, going to IKEA at 3pm for some meatballs, ordering food and encountering IKEA food guy who played with me about not being able to speak English when he said it in English and me being fooled, rushing back home to keep within time limit for bus, being reminiscent about the whole IKEA journey as it reminded me of my first two trips during my first few days in Uppsala where I didn't know anything or where I was and now being able to recognise the route and being familiar with the place in general,
• 11/5: organising Eurovision party/Aleksi's farewell and event, not doing any Swedish study, making migoreng (2 packets) v quickly before basic swedish, rushing to basic swedish bc there was only 5 mins till class started and I was still in Flogsta, biking in just my knit jumper and putting coat in basket bc I knew I was biking madly, seeing Johan walking in Flogsta while I was frantically biking, making it to class in around 10 mins (4:21pm), basketball at Campus 1477 and actually enjoying it (got to shoot around for 10 mins and then I got sufficient rest breaks and the music was good KENDRICK and then I scored a confident jump shot where they applauded me again), but also fell to the ground pretty heavily bc of old guy and my left butt hurt as hell and he wasn't apologetic but maybe because I show no pain #becauseimboss, stopping at ICA for coke and bananas, attempting to ride up a curb and failing, cooking adobo at home and seeing Johan for the first time in yonks and talking to him about his gaming (wii but plays old gamecube games), valborg (he was rlly drunk from morning to night) and Eurovision (he likes it more than Melodifesitvalen bc Sweden is lame), he also scared me when he suddenly appeared in kitchen and he also commented on the amount of chicken I had, being oddly sad (feel like crying sad) about Aleksi leaving (idk if PMS, emo or just attached to the odd yet endearing Finn)
• 12/5: making Nutella scrolls again at night, not going to Eklund with all of them to chill, inviting Erica out to Sigtuna and Snerikes pancake buffet, getting copy of Wild Dances from Bina, watching Riverdale till 3am and being really scared
• 13/5: rush biking to Snerikes again to make 11am start, lining up for the pancake buffet with Pei, waiting in line for 1.5 hours, seeing Rana for a bit in line and Sam in Snerikes, finally getting plate of goodness and not finishing it because social anxiety, messaging Ibige about screening Wild Dances at Gotlands alcohol free club and emailing första curator who said no, telling Aleksi i'd buy his bike from him, going home and trying Aleksi's bike and it being too big but not really wanting to buy it but buying it anyway (and laughing a lot), getting back to the corridor and seeing Kamil out balcony smoking a joint and trying it but failing badly with a short puff, seeing Johan from the balcony and calling out to him but he didn't hear, him reaching the corridor and having a fun, happy talk with the corridor mates about the Eurovision party and with Kamil about smoking pot nek time, someone messing up the microwave and me getting pissed off so I sent a sassy message on the corridor facebook group, then realising it was Kamil who was high and messed up the microwave with his pasta, having siesta in room before decided 8pm start, watching Riverdale and finishing it off, leaving room at 8:10pm to Johan and Aleksi (and Omar) who were already out and had set up the chairs, people arriving, setting up the wifi, serving hot food, eating Erica's spring rolls, having a lot of fun with Rana and Johan and Aleksi who were into it and knew about Eurovision previously, having the best time with Johan and Aleksi from 1-4am after everyone left!!!!
• 14/5: sleep at 4am, waking up really late, Aleksi cleaning most of the shit up and me cleaning the rest, staying in room and studying a bit, messaging Johan that he left his speaker in my room and got his foil, Aleksi messaging me about SPURS vs GSW game when I was already watching it!!!! such a coincidence!!, giving Johan back his speakers and foil and him saying he was hungover, Simone messaging me about the game on insta
• 15/5: Marcus messaging me on Insta about the game and playing with me that they lost, studying a bit, listening to Aussie bangers, not going to Monday beers for Aleksi, chatting with him and Johan in kitchen (about beer bellies, smoking, protestantism, protestant work ethic etc)
• 16/5: not going to last swedish class because of period, going to ICA, seeing Johan who missed SMASH bc of sickness (and drinking and snus-ing), Catherine coming over to give me the sheets I missed in class, chatting with her and Aleksi in his room and checking his room out, Aleksi giving me his chips and Johan's vacuum, Aleksi doing flogsta scream for last time and subconsciously hearing it but not realising it was him till he messaged me on fb that he needed to do it
• 17/5: saying bike to Aleksi and giving him his souvenirs and letter, biking to v-dala, randomly seeing Rana on the streets, going to Göteborgs nation and receiving a very shitty attitude from the curators (v swedish, they were so bland about their answer -- just a straight up "no" after I asked politely and they didn't even want to expand on that and so I made them by reconfirming their no??), going to Cafe Linne but would rather spend money on a decent, hot meal rather than cafe food (I MISS THE U.K OR DAMN AUSTRALIAN FOOD LIFE. Uppsala food is so fecking boring), so opting to bike all the way to McDonald's for a double cheeseburger meal, feeding my procrastination by going to New Yorker for sunnies on a very unsunny day, letting Catherine borrow my bike, letting Pei borrow my beautiful white floral dress (TUR FÖR DEM), being sad about Aleksi not being in corridor and trying to hide from everyone, realising it's gonna be a REALLY WARM WEEK IN UPPSALA!!!!!

18/5: studying, warm day!!!, so weird to not wear a piece of outerwear so I opted for corduroy (little did I know it would soon be the norm to go outerwearless, realising I studied for listening exam well, doing exam with high tech headphones, going to Uplands for waffles and pea soup with Rana and seeing Raz, taking photo with Rana with domykrkan, inviting Johan out to the carnival with Rana and I, Kamil inviting me to Gamla to see the lights (which he did), going to Göteborgs nation and having my own snooze fest, biking with Eric and Catherine and testing Aleksi's bike for the first time, 19/5: going out at 1:15 to pick up soccer tickets from Blåsenhaus with Erica and Simone, going into the city and seeing so much people, shopping in H&M to find a square neck top (loved this white top but not square neck) and Zara (almost buying a black top), going to New Yorker to try to exchange sunglasses, eating Maccas, going home and sweating like a pig upon arrival, not studying, Kamil knocking on door to check up on me and inviting me to a party and pretending he's a flogsta DJ with his window wide open and music blaring, having a chat with Johan about his crocs and more music recommendations, getting the fan from kitchen to my room, really hearing Flogsta scream tonight either bc Friday night or exams, at 1:20 am hearing the mens choir in Flogsta do their varbål serenading thing

• 20/5: one of my fave days here in Uppsala with Rana, Johan and Catherine (and Eric for a bit), eating empanadas, potato twisters, fairy floss, nutella and banana crepes, Rana and I getting our face painted, watching folk dances, being crazy and dancing the typical dances of the century (macarena, ketchup song, souljah boy, miley cyrus' song), rana doing turkish dances, johan teaching us the waltz, singing high school musical en route to Norrlands, having drinks in Norrlands and not conversing in their politics talk, biking home with Johan and Catherine, talking to Marcus on insta about the NBA and this time, other stuff like his injury, balling again and him going to wine and dine in France with his 'father'
• 21/5: not really studying for Swedish
• 22/5: not really studying for Swedish, organising gasque, going to Catherine's and Eric's to study (Catherine to teach me sentence order rule and verb rules etc), biking with Catherine and Eric to exam centre, seeing people, having a really hard time doing the exam, probably failing my exam, biking to IKEA for dinner with Rana, Flora, Eric and Catherine, arriving when it closes, taking photo instead outside IKEA, going to Max nearby instead, biking back home with the gang to nice sunset near Flogsta, just chilling for the night, watching half of beauty and the beast
• 23/5: watching other half of beauty and the beast, cooking rice and egg/bacon pieces, going to body combat with Flora, biking home, going back to the gym for some basketball, sweating hard even though wearing breathable shorts, flora getting her shoe box and chatting a bit, talking with Johan for a bit, him finally doing the bins and me cleaning the kitchen, taking shower, kamil asking me to go to Snerikes, sleeping late
• 24/5: not waking up properly till like 3-4pm, not doing much at all, trying to do laundry but being full so randomly went to Catherine and Eric's corridor, luckily for me they were about to have dinner so I got a free feed of chicken pasta, hadn't eaten much beforehand so it was good as it stopped me from eventually binging in ICA, doing my laundry, going to ICA and buying ice cream etc, cooking my salmon, mash potato, gravy, fries and chicken schnitzel, getting laundry and folding etc
• 25/5: not sleeping till around 4-5am (i forgot) that morning, waking up at 11:40 to get ready to go to Eric and Catherine's to bake banana bread, baking banana bread, eating pizza and crepes till 3pm!!!, going home and sleeping most of the afternoon till 6pm, bumming around, eating salmon and rice for dinner, organising lake day with the group and second-hand/ikea day with the girls
• 26/5: meeting everyone in Norrlands to try to pay for gasque, thrift shopping day with Dasom, Rana and Catherine (joined briefly by Erica and Anna), felt cool with all of us girls biking together (feeling like a girl bikee gang), didn't find a lot of stuff (luckily because I shouldn't have been spending) but my best find was the Uppsala postcard, hearing a really really loud filipino women with her filipino family on the phone in one of the thrift shops, finally eating at IKEA, getting 12 meatballs and a cinnamon bun, then also buying an ice-cream and Oatly chocolate milk (vegan milk made of oats and no dairy), going to H&M, Zara and New Yorker in the city with Dasom and Catherine (because Catherine wanted to experience shopping in the city), Dasom offering me her dress and letting me borrow it for the gasque
• 27/5: first day of 25 degree weekend, so I wore my black t-shirt dress and birks and my freaken sunglasses, attempting to find a dress for the gasque in town in the mall, h&m and new yorker but luckily not buying anything (because my culottes ended up being okay - it wasn't too hot at all), having lemonade and waffle buffet at ÖG with Johan, Rana, Eric and Catherine and being like 30 mins late, sitting under the sun, biking home with Eric and Catherine to get ready, getting ready for a gasque for the last time with fan on this time, not being the last one to get ready - instead, it was catherine who took quite a while hehe, biking all fancily dressed to Norrlands nation, enjoying the gasque with the highlights being: meeting a set of weird yet endearing Swedish triplets who liked ice-hockey and lived up in the north, taking photos with the group and just chilling, ENDING THE GASQUE WITH BLOODY BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (A++++++ BEST TIME EVER), conga line or train or whatever, Catherine and I seeing Johan, seeing the puppers, having a cider in the pub where Flora, Catherine and I were trying to read the newspaper with our basic swedish skills (apparently, according to Erica we sounded like little, primary school kids), BEST MUSIC IN THE CLUB (DJ'S WERE SO COOL I WAS IN LOVE), singing and dancing to IRREPLACEABLE was especially fun, and then going crazy dancing with Catherine, Flora and Anna when Erica went (i.e. jumping around and being an idiot bc that's not what Erica's about), biking home with Catherine back to Flogsta and feeling a bit sick but seeing how it wasn't dark at all at 1:30am still - there was still a faint light which was soooo cool!
• 28/5: getting out right on time as Catherine and Eric got out, biking with Ines too, Ines taking us to a completely new route to Carolina which was cool, meeting with Rana, Flora and meeting Flora's boyfriend, Aleksi's bike's back wheel breaking on Catherine, Flora's boyfriend's bike being too small for him so me offering to take his bike then Catherine my bike then Louis Eric's bike, struggling hard with Louis' bike and sweating hard and not really enjoying the experience, finally arriving at the lake where it turned quite cloudy for the duration of our visit, dipping our feet in cold and quite dirty water, having some snacks, talking and realising that Erica always brings up academics and serious stuff about the future which I hate, laying in the sun listening to some music, taking a walk with Eric and Catherine and finding a campsite with a toilet, volleyball and tennis courts, rock climbing and adventure field, being tracked by wasps, walking to see expensive Swedish houses by river, biking back home along the river, this time using Erica's bike and enjoying the bike ride, biking home through beautiful scenery and with the sunset in the background despite Flora's boyfriend's injury and hurting butts (from Catherine) and heightened annoyance between Catherine and I about bike situation but it ended up being okay and we were normal as Eric, Catherine and I walked back to Flogsta from Eklund that evening (it was really nice, relaxed and warm - i was wearing my shorts and no sleeves for once and not getting chilly at all), Aleksi's bike's back wheel breaking once and for all and leaving it in Engleska, arriving home after walk, seeing Kamil in common room playing guitar and singing Coldplay etc, me attempting to remember how to play 'I want it that way' but failing, Kamil asking me to have a smoko of his new dosh of weedo (500 kr for a few grams) and giving me a good whiff of it
• 29/5: entering out of Flogsta to a chilly breeze, which was a big change from yesterday, going to Taverna for carbonara pasta with Catherine and Eric (always third wheeling), finally buying data and then going to Central Station to meet Rana, Erica and Catherine for Sigtuna, seeing two rapeseed fields on our journey, venturing to Knivsta (very empty town), arriving in Sigtuna and just wandering aimlessly and taking our time, wanting to buy souvenirs and a children's book in Swedish (aka Pippi), having fika (chocolate cake mmm), eating Guac chips for the first time, biking home back with Catherine to Flogsta for the last time ever, being really really sad that evening that Catherine will be leaving, and feeling really sick because I got too much sun and biked and travelled to Sigtuna without drinking any water, trying to sleep at 10pm (i was already ready for bed) but ended up sleeping the usual time
• 30/5: just sleeping and chilling in bed, eventually vacuuming and cleaning bathrooom for Rachel's visit, seeing Johan very very briefly as he snobbed me back to his room, heading over to Eric's and Catherine's for their dinner, helping them make the broccoli and pasta bake which was delicious!!! (esp because I didn't eat anything during the day), Eric selling bike he found for 250 kr!!!!!, having a nice chill night with me being quiet for most of night as I realised it was okay (bc of French girl who was really shy aka looked down and stuff), having nice crepes with banana, sugar and maple syrup, hearing their swedish corridor mate talk in Swedish about NBA but hearing names etc, cleaning up my cabinet space (realising i had too many things) and the kitchen and cleaning the rest of my room, seeing Johan cooking in the kitchen really late at 1:30am and informing him of basic swedish results and Rachel coming to visit
• 31/5: hearing people in Flogsta at 2am singing "heyyyy heyyy baby, ooh ahh"
