 
   
  
    - try to keep a food diary 
- eat slower 
- eat smaller portions 
- when eating sweets, eat less 
- have bigger salads with less dressing 
- eat a big salad BEFORE you eat the other food in the DC 
- try for at least 30 min walks around campus or by the river every day-either morning or night, depending on season 
- walk or work out with someone so you have a buddy!!! 
- walk with barbells? 
- take an apple from the DC every day for a snack later when you're up late doing homework 
- refrain from buying sugary snacks-ice cream and chips-late at night from the market 
- eat less meat 
- try more fruits and veggies (especially fruits!) 
- don't drink soda (I already do this) 
- don't take cookies back to your dorm room 
- don't eat dessert every night, just every once in a while 
- when you're stressed, take a minute or two to calm down instead of grabbing sweet treat 
- try new activities, biking, hiking, swimming: go to the rec/aquatic center! 
- talk to a health professional? Kendra or someone from the Well
