  • London again. I loved Bath and the bustle of the streets and the history permeating my soul as I stroll down the crowded pavement. I am also enamored of the tea. The tea! And Waterstone's was heaven manifest.
  • Paris. I don't speak French and I regret not taking French in high school terribly so but I can't not want to go to Paris, you know? I want to stroll the sophisticated streets in a bohemian outfit and sit in the cafes and dine on éclairs and soak in the magic of Paris. I want to see the Eiffel tower and walk the catacombs underneath the city and view the night sky in gay Paree.
  • Italy; Rome, Florence, Venice. How could I not? The Miu Miu and the D&G call to me, but first I must keep my money close by my side. I want to walk the water-streets of Venice and fit my footsteps where Romans once walked before me.
  • Taiwan. My childhood home, humid and dirty and bustling and cacophonous, but I still yearn for a glimpse of it all. I miss the clutter and the deliciously unhygienic street vendors and the air conditioning and my dad's university with its decrepit pool and ghost forests and my old apartment home.
  • Japan. Any part of Japan because it's been too long since I've been there, and I am a most ardent lover of Japanese food. I'd feel right at home. My appearance passes for Japanese moreso than my own ethnicity, so I shall fit in like a pea in a pod. I rather like some Japanese fashions as well, and I will no doubt enjoy feeling tall among the short Asians.
  • Vancouver. Simply because I love the feeling of that city. I love its cleanliness and its hectically strewn cable lines all over the city. I love the secluded parks scattered over Vancouver Island and Vancouver itself, with beautiful Butchart Gardens and delicious food and the wintry winds that blow all over. I also must go to the WildPlay at Nanaimo; bungy jumping and canyon swinging- all these things that have been missing from my life for so long! And the bookstores- oh, the bookstores! Chapters is the king of all bookstores, with the perfect atmosphere and lighting and wonderful book selections. A heaven for book-loving me.
  • Prague. Why not? Some of my favorite books were set there, and I am curious to see the architecture and history that would be all around me. It's a foreign part of the world for me, Eastern Europe, and I am eager to experience it starting with Prague.
  • New York. I can't believe I still haven't been to this conglomeration of my favorite things: giant bookstores and publishing homes and shopping. Well then, that's to be remedied soon if I can help it.
