barbecue ribs
- seasons both sides with pepper, garlic powder, sinigang mix (1/3 pack), and msg (sprinkle)
- marinade both sides with bbq marinade and soy sauce
- if no sinigang mix, substitute with calamansi/lemon juice
- leave in foil bone side down, cover with foil
- cook on 400 deg for 2 hours
- remove cover, put back in over for 1/2 hour
- paint with thick sauce and baste with the watery sauce every now and then
bbq pork chops
- bbq, same recipe
- in over, same recipe - cook for less time, cover maybe 1 hour, uncover 15 min
- in pan, add little oil
- cover in medium heat until it browns then turn over to cook other side
- add onion - slice onion in circles and half-fry in the leftover oil
- place onions on top of pork chop
Sinigang
- oil in pot
- cook onion and garlic
- add meat until a little brown
- add patis and pepper to the meat
- add enough water until Above the meat
- boil then simmer until meat is tender
- meanwhile, soak potato, carrots, etc to soften
- taste when meat cooked, add salt and patis to taste
- add veggies when taste is good
