• I am immensely interested in all people. Most all people, at least.
• Quite often, my eyes tear up when I see something really adorable—especially children. I think kids are the light of the world.
• I won’t work out until I’m at least 30 years old. I think there are much more important things I can do with my time.
• I love food. Excluding Ramen noodles and Cheez-Its.
• My feet haven’t grown since the 8th grade, and I wear a size 5 shoe.
• I own a Diana+ camera.
• There was a time in my life when I thought I belonged in the 80s.
• I would be perfectly content watching people in some public place, admiring the sky, or going through old old photo albums for an entire day. Or week. Day is more plausible though…in fact that sounds really appealing…I’m doing it. All of them.
• I’m a hardcore bargain shopper. Recently, I decided to pick an item to splurge on (meaning something NOT on sale or re-sale). The gorgeous cardigan I picked out ended up going on sale a week after I picked it, but I bought it anyways cause it was still $40. A button came off the first time I washed it.
• I miss my momma.
• I bought a skunk lamp last summer.
• I remember a lot of things most people wouldn’t/don’t.
• I’m terrified of growing up.
• My favorite photograph, and most prized possession, is of my mom as a little girl and her dad dancing at some sort of party around 1968.
• I wish Regina Spektor was my best friend.
• I wish Matt Thiessen was my lover.
• My favorite colors are Tiffany blue and grey. I hate the spelling “gray”.
• I wish I knew you better. Yeah, you.
• I love my best friends. Bridget is an absolutely amazing person, and Laurel is my roots. And call me a dork, but I honestly consider my dog, Parker, to be a best friend : )
• I have an extensive collection of fortunes from fortune cookies, and I don’t know what to do with all of them. My last fortune was “Someone you care about seeks reconciliation.” and had the translation of “supervisor” on the back.
• Sometimes, I snort when I laugh really hard.
• I am SO awkward. I’m terrible at socializing, and talking in front of groups of people makes me want to throw up.
• I love my sleep. I can’t sleep with socks on. I recently discovered eye masks.
• I watched Jurassic Park for the first time on Saturday, thanks to Bridget.
• I conserve.
• I’m in English Literature this semester as an excuse to read more, and let me tell you, it is definitely working out for me.
• I will learn to play piano someday, and I’ll be quite good at it, thank you.
• I think people should be more consistently sincere.
• I don’t care what kind of cell phone you have.
• I love lame.
• When people talk about politics I get super stressed out.
• Texas Children’s Hospital owns the rights to one of my photos.
• I hate Facebook and television mainly because when they’re available I become addicted. I love coffee : )
• I buy the CDs.
