First of all, you must know that Lyle has never spoken more than 5 coherent words to either of us, and we know all of this through [mildly nosy] observation. The following lists everything we know about our mysterious neighbor... Names have been changed to protect identity.

• Lyle lives alone with his dog, Scout.
• He may or may not be a student at Texas A&M University. Graduate school, perhaps? I don't know...even though I'm pretty sure we asked him.
• Somewhere between the ages of 21 and 26, I'd say.
• Practically every Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday (and the occasional Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday), Lyle leaves in his truck between the hours of 12:00 and 1:00 am, presumably to get trashed. He arrives back at the house some time after that with a friend or a Maroon Cab dropping him off, completely wasted. (presumably). The next morning (or afternoon..) he leaves in a Maroon Cab, and returns with his truck.
• Once, he stumbled back in such a state at 10:00pm, needing the Maroon Cab van driver to assist him in getting from the vehicle to his door.
• He must be loaded, as he can presumably afford so much alcohol. And Maroon Cabs....
• He ALWAYS backs into the driveway.
• He is an avid chain-smoker. We can smell cigarette smoke in our kitchen, some days more than others. The smell seeps into our duplex through cracks around the sink pipes...we avoid opening those cabinets. We can also smell it from our front door sometimes.
• Lyle drops the occasional hamburger or milk shake in the driveway, leaving it to be an eye-sore for us, until Elaine kindly throws the litter away for him.
• He fancies shirts like this.
• And music like this.
• He leaves the television on 24/7 (for Scout?).
• (4/5/11) I know we just won the championship, because he just "whoop"ed...
• He really, really likes 5-hour energy.
• He doesn't care to trim the hedges...

Scout

• She (or quite possibly "he") is a German Shepherd.
• Scout ran away once...but she (he?) returned, apparently.
• One glorious day, WE SAW SCOUT!
• Scout may or may not be missing an ear. Poor, poor Scout.
• 
  Lyle believes her to be "about 185 pounds".
