- introduced through mnet's survival show (damn you) pentagon maker; e'dawn, shinwon, and yan an were originally eliminated from the show but they ended up debuting all 10 members anyways bc cube is a hot mess
- pentagon = emphasizing 5 aspects of being an idol: performance, dance, teamwork, talent, mind
- were originally supposed to debut 7/23/2016 but again, cube is a mess so it got delayed
- yes they did compose pd101s2's never!
