- How I got my name? I simply take Geopelia's Chinese name (which is 鸠/Jiu). Adding 子 (zi/Chinese character with multiple meanings but in this instance, it means for "young") to the name would sound fun. This results in Jiuzi (鸠子), Chinese for "young dove".
