yeah, i felt like i needed to start over. i don't know, i'll paraphrase from both of these boxes, it's cool. but basically, i'd hit a standstill on the purple letter, and then turned on a totoro song remix, and suddenly i basically decided i needed to do this.

i am incredibly excited for you going on this trip. i'm so glad you'll have the chance to see family, and travel, and experience an entirely new aspect of the world. you'll be playing a game you love, and documenting a breathtaking place - and meeting all of these people who are honestly going to find a lot of happiness and blessing from your being there.

now, if this isn't the case anymore, i apologize for the additional paragraph - but i want you know not to worry about this, at all. i remember you talking to me about the cultural gaps; the differences in your upbringing with the kids', and how it might affect your interaction. but the thing is - because i don't think you're actually aware of this, and you definitely NEED TO KNOW - you are really honestly one of the most wonderful people i've ever had the luck (and right-place-right-time encounter) of coming across, and your presence in my already fortunate life has made REMARKABLE difference. you're funny; and quite multitalented between counting to three, SAVING multiple isu presentations for me (thank you <3), doing rap shows as bangs, and general wizarding (the money and girl will come later, i promise ron. only 7 books to wait). i think you are an adorable (read: audaciously masculine ;D) hylian who is RAD at ocarina, and surely, if nothing else, that should garner you your deserved street cred on the other side of the world.

now, at this point, i'm going to cut your reading short and sentence you to sitting blankly in your seat until you reach your first airport. from there, when you're bored waiting to get on the next flight, then continue. now get yourself a cup of foreign tea! :)

PART TWO :D ohai! i hope the airport is full of strange people who want to make conversation with you and get your number. but in all honesty - beneath all da popcorn swag, and lobby dance moves, and luxury minecraft lifestyle, you are understanding and patient beyond belief, especially when dealing with my occasional psychobabble ramblings. and even to someone who hasn't been lucky enough to know you as a technical directing badass with a love for da movies and concept cadillacs, i know they'll find you just as much of a charismatic, lovely, and enchanting person; and an incredibly smart and clever boy. there are a million and one other qualities i could easily outline about you - but umm, i am going to refrain now (for the sake of not looking like more of a tool than i already am).

and as you read this letter, i hope that a) you're fairly comfortable (travelling always disorients baby cats), and b) that you believe it - because while i can absolutely see you rolling your eyes or saying 'well, i've clearly got you fooled', i'm going to annex that thought (hsp style) before you can properly follow through on it because i firmly believe every single word; and i really want you to know that [i know] you will be incredibly welcomed, loved, and missed wherever you go.

PART FREE 8D *(yooo, so close! ..well, not really.) haha. i'm going to miss the crap out of you, and i'll not be a pussy for once and admit that not receiving your texts, or periodic y0 inboxes, or hugs is going to be a little bit :< for me. but the thing is, it'll only be a month. and then you'll be home; and once you're back, know that there will be tea, and good movies *like harry potter, and counterstrike with your *BITCHIN NEW* headset, and a small, blinky bunny, and a longboard, and a three (by that i mean house.. complete with two dogs and some parents and a sister LOL. c:), and a very, very happy jacqueline cat who will be MAD craving hugs and inboxes and tales of your international adventures - ALL waiting for you.

so until you come home, have an amazing time in uganda! take pictures; enjoy your travelling; have a fantastic time with your relatives, and re-immerse yourself into soccer - it's gonna be RAD, and i can't wait to share our july & spend our august when you get here.
