• i don't know what it is, but sometimes when you're walking in the loop, there comes this hellacious odor..it seems to come up from underground, which would explain it's similarity to sewage. the corner of wacker and monroe is notorious.

• cigarette smoke
• sometimes the smell of fish
• when liver is being cooked
