- develop strict schedules
- come up with a good organizational/naming system early on
- even if you decide to abandon going down a certain avenue at the moment, save and organize any work you did in case you decide to come back later
- if you know that you are doing something inefficiently then ask questions
- don't save stuff to the desktop, stop slacking on organization
- be conscious of your posture if you are working for several hours at a time
- Never to become discouraged after bad critiques
- Never to feed ego after a good critique
- Try (and I emphasize to TRY) to not fall asleep during critiques
- Never operate power tools after pulling off an all nighter
- Never underestimate the beauty of construction lines
- Use map board (lots of it)
- Sleep is for the weak
- Replace blades often
- Always save software in increments of at least 10 minutes
