- coloring, preferably mandalas
- diaphragmatic breathing
- getting a massage
- going for a walk
- guided meditation (sometimes)
- listen to spotify playlists
- listening to an audio book
- progressive muscle relaxation
- reading for a while
- snuggle with hot water bottle or rice bag
- talking to my wife or my therapist
- watching a favorite movie
- working out, preferably intense cardio or weights
- write down a list of the things i'm anxious about, and sometimes rationalize them also
