I lived in Europe for two months, and all I got was this stupid fucking hangover. FUN EARLY MORNING TIMES AT THE AIRPORT.

I just finished printing my boarding pass...it's officially my last day in Prague. While I definitely learned a lot from my job, I think it's safe to say that I learned a lot more from living alone in a foreign country. Mostly important things, like how no matter where you go you won't escape "Call Me Maybe" and that using many, many emoticons in professional emails is <s>allowed</s> encouraged in certain work environments.

I considered updating

quite a bit--especially while at work--in order to share/remember my time here. Clearly I didn't, but I will say that even though I believe about a week ago that I had satisfied my expectations for this trip, this final week has surprised me with some of the most fun I've had while I've been here (Lesson learned: never give up early on your awesome summer abroad???). I'm sad to leave, but I'm excited to see everyone back home and at Grinnell so soon! Thanks
and
for all the help and great memories.

Please don't remind me of the trek...I can still pretend that it doesn't exist and the world is not this way for about another month. Yeah, I'll definitely be back by (and before) then.

I agree that it would be best to begin next semester with a song that is about being so thirsty for knowledge. I hadn't checked in with that girl's blogging for quite awhile; however, I did once you reminded me. Unfortunately, nothing new has happened to her since May (and even then she was only complaining about losing followers..apparently she can't execute true art with nothing but a phone camera).

Yo,

jugjugs for life. Good to hear you're sharing the "love" of the "family" with your family. HELICOPTERS, MAGNETS.

Tips from 2012 (otherwise, Things I've Learned from <s>Fourth-years</s> Graduates: A Tribute)

-Never let fourth-year boys mix your drinks -Proper shotgun technique -C's get degrees -The meaning of self-gov can be learned through a drinking game based on a cheesy student staff video -You can open a bottle of wine with nothing but a hammer -A well executed accent can improve even the highest quality performance -Figure out how much beer you'll need, then add another thirty rack -Low standards are the key to happiness -Throw away the cap

Congratulations and farewell, especially to [kaufmann12]

and

There are so many things I wanted to do with you all "one last time," but there was no time. I hope that must just mean that this isn't the end and that we'll all have opportunities to see one another again in the future.
