Randomly generated list to aid my extreme procrastination. Okay, self improvements I've made over the past couple of years:
- Self-esteem: I used to have shocking self-esteem and in some ways I still do, but thanks to my boyfriend, my self-esteem has grown in leaps and bounds. There's still parts of me that I would love to change and quite frankly I don't see what he sees in me, but I do feel 10x more comfortable about myself than I did a few years ago.
- Cooking: As mentioned in another list, this year I learned how to cook properly! When I lived at home I could make a few simple things but when I moved out it was quite a while before I could put a meal together without either burning, dropping, or full out destroying something. I thought I'd never pick up, but I've learned - I mean I'm not going to win any best chef prizes now or anything, but I can cook.
- Languages: This was quite an embarrassing attempt. A while back I decided I wanted to get in touch with my heritage and learn Hungarian, but I ended up being too busy with college work to really focus on it. Maybe one day I'll start learning again.
- Appearance: Earlier on this year, I decided that a bob was the way to go and lobbed off about 6 inches of hair. You can see the result in my icon, top left. I loved it, but I don't think it suited me and quite a few people told me that they missed my hair being curly, so I'm in the process of growing it out a bit. I've also gained a bit of weight and my style has changed a little - it's not really noticeable, but I think it's an improvement?
