- Driving up to Lake Itasca with Adam to visit Shauna. Camping. Lighting a fire with a single match. A big storm. Paul Bunyan. Driving back.
- Driving to Wisconsin to see Mason Jennings and Jack Johnson. Parking in a field. Getting two beers. Sitting in the grass under the sun. Loving the concert. Running into Kacy and Sarah unexpectedly. Being stuck in said field for 2 hours trying to get out. Getting home at 3 a.m. and opening DB the next morning.
- Working at Dunn Bros. Sunday mornings spent reading the early Sunday Star Tribune and talking with Morgan. Joking around with Mike, Erin, Jake, Kacy, Sarah...
- Laptop shopping. Scouting the stores. Befriending the guys at Best Buy. Doing the pricing. Then finally going to buy my computer, only to be surprised by my parents that it is my graduation present and I won't be paying for it.
- Standing in line for 8 hours to see Barack Obama on the night Hilary conceded the Democratic nomination. Shaking his hand, talking to Michelle. Calling Brent and being told to not to wash my hand until he gets to MN.
- Paperwork. Multiple trips to PostNet. Lots of internet research. Scads of calls/emails to Guy Duke. And then finally getting my Korean visa.
- My last trip to Marshall. Staying at Gilly and Daryl's apartment. A night at the pub. Paninos. Driving out to Beaner's apartment in Tyler. Getting pulled over for the first time for speeding. Wandering around the SC one last time.
- Going luggage shopping with Mom for my birthday present. Making a massive packing list. Packing. Repacking.
- Waking up one morning, only to realize that I was actually going to Korea that day. Riding to the airport with Mom and Dad. Crying at the airport.
- Flying from Minneapolis to Tokyo, Tokyo to Busan. Arriving and meeting the people that would be my friends through the next year.
