- The 127 Bus: This bus comes and goes from the bus terminal near my apartment. However, when you attempt to take this bus downtown, it ends up at the University area. When you attempt to take this bus back to my apartment, it ends up at the train station.
- Vague Emotional Facebook Status Updates:
- For example:
- "Susie hopes."
- "James is anxiously waiting."
- and the worst one of all: "Dan is..."
- Starbucks' Black Tea Latte: It's pondwater compared to The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's English Breakfast Latte.
- Korean drainage: Andrew's bathroom floor drain is notorious for not allowing a single drop of water to pass through. And recently, my laundry room flooded nearly my entire apartment due to the fact that my floor drain was hidden beneath the washing machine.
- Yellow dust: I've had five sinus infections in eight months.
- HBO: I need me some True Blood and Big Love.
- The smell in my bathroom: This only occurs when I leave the window open at night. I have tried to see what it could be outside that is causing this and have yet to come up with an answer.
- Korean Monopoly (aka: Hotel Owner): The money for this game is in increments that involve 4 zeros. (For example: 200000, 500000, etc.) So when you play, you must be constantly removing zeroes to make sense of the banking. Also, Seoul has taken Boardwalk, and Busan has taken Park Place... I mean, really?
- Cab drivers that pick you up at CGV after 9 p.m.: These dudes have recently gained a reputation for being total douche bags. In recent memory, cabs from this location at this time have almost killed me with reckless driving (twice) and tried to proposition me while waiting at the bus stop (either to get in their cab, or to do other unmentionable things).
