Back when I was just getting into film, I treated the IMDB top 250 like a credible list, like it wasn't a worthless list from a shitty website largely made up of boring teenage males and fanboys. Just look at the top ten; fucking ridiculous. The Shawshank Redemption: the greatest film OF ALL TIME? Nah, shit's trite as fuck. And I never fully understood everyone's fixation of 12 Angry Men. BUT! I've taken it upon myself to see, uh I don't know. top 10? 20? 20 seems a bit excessive, and I really don't want to fucking watch the Lord of the Rings movies. Fuck it. I'll just do the stuff from top 10 that I haven't already seen and then some other Hollywood schlock that IMDB-types lose their collective shit over. The films I will be viewing:
- The Godfather
- The Godfather II
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
- Schindler's List
- Jaws
- Seven Samurai
- The first three Star Wars movies
- Casablanca
- Se7en
- Raiders of the Lost Arc
