- be selfless
- don't always wait for him to chase you
- always be willing to say sorry
- don't hold onto who they used to be, look at who they are now - and whether you can live with that person
- be compromising
- don't always expect them to give in
- be fun and have fun! :)
- as a Christian - i think God should be in the centre of your relationship. Pursue God together and also independently of each other.
- be fair
- try not to run away with your emotions
- don't make big decisions when you're angry
- don't exaggerate problems
- make sure you know where you are with your hormone cycle so that you can distinguish when you are pmsing and when you actually have a right to be mad lol
- don't play games
- be a team
- look at what is best for the other person
- don't compare
- talk to each other alot
- when a person is jealous and is trying to vent to you - that is not the time to justify your actions. Most of the time jealousy is irrational - and reasoning with an irrational person is silly.
- it's okay be wrong, it's not a competition and there is nothing to win
- don't think too far ahead - take each day at a time and be satisfied with where you are now
