- stop replaying / reliving negative events
- this also includes wallowing in how u felt when the event happened
- go through ur happy tags on ur blog
- read
- find distractions!
- pick out the positives from every experience
- get something done
- take some notes
- read a chapter of a book
- this works in a cycle. the first time will be hard, but doing one thing makes it easier to get the following things done.
